If you want to block nuisance calls like this one, you now have the option of buying a phone from a Telstra Shop that can do this, it is called the Telstra Guardian 301. The phone is well worth the investment. Numbers you block will hear the following message; “calls to this number are being monitored by Telstra Guardian; the person you are trying to contact is not accepting your calls, so please hang up”. Callers you place in your contacts list will get through as usual but anyone with a private or withheld number or a number that is not in your contacts list will hear this message; “calls to this number are being monitored by Telstra Guardian; please state your name and then press # and we will connect your call”. You will then have the option of either accepting or rejecting the call.

Other devices such as Fritz!Box modem router also have call blocking features.

One more lead weight on the scales that will one day tip, setting me off on an international killing spree of call centre personnel. A man can only take so much.

The arsehole who just rung me from that number had an Indian accent thicker and more foul-smelling than Beef Vindaloo. He claimed that, as I was over 59 years of age and still in the work force, I was entitled to some sort of government and that he wanted to discuss it with me. I told him that I am NOT in the workforce but am a retired person, at which he disconnected the call. Indians are PESTS.

Just rang. Claimed to be from PL Solutions. Knew some stuff about me. Claimed it was from a survey I conducted 2 or 3 years ago. Said there was no charge for the information. Could check with my accountant.
Said website is plsolutions.com.au. There is no such web-site.
Hung up.

I received a phone call from the above number about 8 minutes ago and decided to investigate this further. I rang back and there was no response. I then decided to google and it brought me here. Yes, this has happened before and yes they are a nuisance.

Block this caller if you can or do not answer, it is an Indian call centre. It won't stop them calling and they are very aggressive, best not to engage with them at all. They claim to be offering 'government tax incentives' which is a load of rubbish.

Rang -I picked up even though I have caller ID because I had not encountered this number before. After a few seconds and hearing background noise I realised it was a call centre so promptly hung up on them. They had the audacity to call again (most don't) so this time I let it ring out. I won't be caught again!

11 missed calls, when I try call back the number is engaged. Unable to accurately identify caller.

This number got through to the office line, even though it was diverted to a mobile! They are clever, or paying someone to avoid the walls we put up.

If you are on the Do Not Call Register, PLEASE report this number and whoever they claim to be (to the Do Not Call Register complaints).
If you're not on it, get yourself on it. Obviously, it doesn't stop all the Indians from calling, but at least we have somewhere to complain to.

Thus anniying numbr has started ringing again and as usual, nobody there if answered - therefore a computer generated telemarketing call confirming a suitable time for a shonky person to call to call back and attempt to either sell something or demand bank account details under the guise of government tax saving schemes, home internet updates, telco, or the ATO.
Best thing to do is to never answer your phone, allow the call to go through to voicemail/message bank … if it’s a legitimate caller they’ll leave a message including a name and return number - if they don’t, simply delete … eventually they get sick of the process and disappear for a while. Following this plan saves anger, rising blood pressure and, above all keeps you in calm control of a situation we’ll never escape in this day of advanced technology 👌

have been calling me for 2 years , every 3 months , just another scam , I just verbally abuse them now until they cant take it anymore & then I hang up , ha ha . 3 months later we do it all again , theyre just scum ..
