Called my mobile. I rang back on a landline - number not connected.!!!! Dodgey brothers.

Caller: Purported to be from Telstra

Female voice said from Telstra and my Internet. Said it was fine then she hung up!!
Judging by other comments spam

An Indian sounding voice calling himself Frank from TPG. "scammer"
My friend has a pet crock called Frank more believable.

Indian sounding guy in very noisy busy centre, claiming to be from Telstra. Said they had detected high volumes of data use and i had a serious issue with hackers. kept asking if i was in front of a pc and that he could help me resolve the issue. Said his name was Patrick Williams.

Just had a call from a female curry muncher, claiming she was from Optus and needed access to my computer (I'm not even with Optus). Obviously a scammer.
Told her to f*ck OFF BACK TO BOMBAY !!

He said someone is accessing my internet and he wanted me to go to my computer and click windows r, I played along but hadn’t even opened my computer, knew it was a scammer

Scam call from India. I'm not even with Telstra and they could not confirm any of my details. Hung up on me as soon as I asked if they were scammers. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER.

don't know anything about me but stated my home internet used by others. Not a telstra user and the internet under others' name

Just had someone call me off this number and it was a guy who sounded Indian telling me he's calling about my home internet connection.

I don't have any contact details on my home internet connection because its under someone else's name.

I kept saying Hello and pretending I couldn't hear them haha Then hung up and blocked the number.

Obviously a scam - DO NOT ANSWER OR FALL FOR ANY CALLER FROM THIS NUMBER

Trying to say I was a Telstra customer and my internet is having issues. When I responded "you f.....g scammer" he disconnected immediately.

Stated was from telstra re problems with internet, when i asked what his number was so i could ring him back he stated there was no direct line then he didnt even know what the main number for telstra was when i asked him obviously a scam
