Caller: Telstra scammer

An Indian man by the name of Alan Brown tells us people are using our internet and he can help disconnect all these people, asked for his Telstra id and he gave us s 5 digit number, they are meant to be 6 digits

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Indian sounding fellow rang my work mobile about "my home internet connection." I do use Telstra home internet but told him that I don't and he'd rung a business phone. He said "aaahhh... ok thanks have a nice day" and hung up. Def scam caller.

Someone claiming to be from Telstra about lots of issues with my internet when I'm on line. She was quite aggressive when challenged her.

Indian caller (do Indians ever do anything else?) claiming to be from Telstra "Technical Department", blah blah. Same old boring scam, these imbeciles can't even spin a good story. Seriously fools, get a life, maybe go to work and earn a living, or do you think you are too privileged and real work should be left to Australians?

This number Just tried to call my mobile but I didn’t answer as I didn’t know the number. Glad I didn’t!

Claimed an issue with my NBN connection in that other people can access it. Asked for me to sit in front of my computer to resolve the issue. I advised them I was not with Telstra and why was my service provider not calling me about the issue? Rudely claimed that she had already told me the reason. I then replied I was not at my computer which she then hung-up on me!!

The number was disconnected when I called it.

Scammer rang my mobile, when he said who he was I asked...so you guys are calling mobiles now, he hung up. Hahaha.

Very thick indian accent, told me my internet was about to was about to be cancelled and he could help. Told him I work for the office of the telecommunications ombudsman and was very interested in how he knew anything about my service. He hung up instantly.

Indian caller, said multiple ppl using my connection, asked my hours of work. Pfft. Go away.

Caller: Fake Telstra scammers, couldn't tell me anything about my account

Just had this scammer call with Indian accent (03) 9318 6093, couldn't tell me anything about my account etc... etc... so so so many scammers out there these days.
Off with their heads.

Indian caller saying that he was from telstra and that there was some unauthorized activity with someone else using my internet. I told him i suspected he was a scam caller as i was not with telstra. He then said telstra is ... expletive...and hung up.

Received tel. call from (03) 9318 6093. A female with heavy Indian accent claimed she was calling from Telstra about my internet connection. I asked for her name and she replied her name was Christina. I challenged her when she began talking stating she was a scammer and that he was not from Telstra. I reported this incident to SCAMWATCH which I recommend others to do.

Document details of the call you receive from this name. Do not give any personal details to the caller; do not give any details of where you live, who you are, internet connection details or bank details.

Caller: Some bloody indian

The rang & told me somebody was using my internet & asked me to go to it. I said I am right in front of it... The he said what is the key on your keyboard next to the X key . I said it is called Dodgy. He said what . I said it is a special key on my unique keyboard that shows a Dodgy key. & I said do I press it now!!! He hung up ... When they ring just play with them.

Caller: Telstra (apparently!)

2 calls within 10 mins from different guys claiming to be from Telstra and telling me there was a problem with my internet. Both Indian accents (surprise surprise!). When is Telstra going to do something about these scam artists? I have a silent number and am on the 'do not call' register. I totally believe that these disgusting people are something to do with Telstra - either by being an employee or by employees giving our details to these scam artists.

Caller: Telstra

Some Indian guy called claiming he was Telstra, and that others were using my internet.
I asked him what the problem was ( that I don't mind), but he said that if they did anything illegal, I would get in trouble.
He asked me to press the 'window' button on the keyboard so I could see who was connected, but I told him I would ring Telstra myself. I asked him his name - 'Frank'. Note that he didn't ask for anyone by name when he called!!!
