Start receiving calls and msgs from this number from yesterday, missed their call and keep calling me again this morning, I feel it's too pushy.

They knew my name and didn't ask for any other information from me. I think this is not a scam.

The SMS said 'Be prepared to receive a call from the Dept of Health on (03) 9254 4505 regarding COVID19 vaccs.' Apparently it's about eligibility for boosters. I've had two boosters and it's on my Medicare Vacc record. Obviously their databases don't talk to each other. Well done IT Department!

I am having these text messages all the time. I am so suspicious of unsolicited calls. It comes up on my phone as a spam call.
It may well be genuine. But surely one text is sufficient to get the message through. Not 3 times in 30 minutes..
I have had no phone call, just annoying texts coninuously.
I am in control of my vaccination status & it is being managed.

Caller said they were from the Dept. of Heath and calling about booster vaccine eligibility. The caller asked if I had received an SMS saying to expect a call. I didn't get an SMS so put them on hold while I checked with the Dept. of Health. Turns out it's legit and a genuine call.

I received a text message from DH-COVID19 "Hi, please be prepared to receive a call from the Department of Health on (03) 9254 4505 regarding your COVID-19 vaccination. They called, did not ask for personal information.
It is not a scam it is from The Department of Health, the number is clearly displayed on their website under the heading "How to book your vaccination." It is the 4th dot point which reads - "The Department of Health is proactively contacting Victorians to discuss their third dose vaccination options. The Department of Health will only call from (03) 9254 4505."
