Caller: DH-Covid 19 reason the number can not be blocked is the call comes in from DH-Covid19 and the number is within the message/text. Phone can't identify the caller as unknown or private number. You can add (03) 9254 4505 to block spam and scam calls, but it won't work as the call does not come in as a phone number.... if that makes sense

Caller: (03) 9254 4505 Department of Health Received a call after initial sms advising of the call. Knew my name. I was told that it had been noted that I didn't have the booster yet. Funnily I had my booster a couple of hours earlier and had it booked since late December. I booked my booster when the wait was 5months after 2nd dose. When the wait was reduced to 4, 3 months I chose not to change my appt as the system was already fully overloaded. I was also asked if there was anyone else in the household who wasn't "boostered" yet.
To me this was an unsolicited call and did not appreciate it. Wasn't even asked if I was happy to speak to the person or if this is a good time. Instant stress response due to bad memories from robo debt scam. Doesn't take much to push my trigger button. In future I will not answer and add to number to "Blocked Numbers:-".

Caller: Department of Health This was a call from the department of health (I think this is what the contact tracers are doing) to advise me that I am allegeable for a third (Out of date - jab is for alpha - 3 variants ago) Covid 19 Jab.
Do not think it was a scam - but feel it is spooky and disappointed my taxpayer money is paying for this - they could JUST SMS or email me.

Caller: Scam Texts claiming Dept health (real department uses a different name!) Re booster options. Repeated calls from multiple people (like 7times in 7 minutes!) at first I politely said I’m capable of booking my own appointments, but after 5th time I got downright rude FFS they still kept calling and persisted all day sat & Sunday!!!! Doubt a govt depart works weekends for calls
