Caller: John Loro Scam - Stated he was from Telstra and hat our internet was not secure. Got very agitated when I questioned him and started yelling that I needed to resolve it today. I asked for his name and phone number and gave me a different one from the one he called from (03) 9624 5599.

Caller: Claimed the were from NBN Co. We had a similar call from another number yesterday [ (07) 3858 7834 ] also claiming to be from NBN Co about our NBN connection being upgraded from copper to fibre. I know that this is NOT a current activity in our area, but it is in some adjacent suburbs. In any case, NBN never calls residential users directly - your Internet Retail Services Provider (RSP) will make the contact. So this is a scam. They will request a variety of personal information, but will ultimately want your credit card information to charge you a small fee ( of around $3.99 ) to register to have this copper to fibre (FTTN to FTTH) upgrade. Don't do it, hang up, it's a scam!

Caller stated they were from Telstra (no name given) and there was a problem with my home internet line. Asked why there hasn't been an email on the issue and the caller got agitated and hung up. Attempts to redial the number were unsuccessful. Not sure what they were looking to achieve but 100% scam call.

Recorded call pretending to be Amazon Services talking about deducting an amount from your account blah blah. I don't have an Amazon account so it is obviously a SCAM call.
