Caller: Auto message saying mandatory for businesses to have QR Code linked to government for covid tracing

Possible scam trying to record voice saying ‘Yes’ then using it to breach security. Say nothing.

They called twice within 2hrs. They left a voicemail. It was an automated males voice saying it’s mandatory for customers to check in with a QR code in Australia. Are you checking them in?

Caller: I don’t know

They keep calling and when I try to call back it says the number is not connected, how is that possible?

It is pretending to be HSBC, asking me to call them back.

Asking for confirm business registration for covid saying they will not anwer security questions. Sounded dodgy so I didn;t say anything and hung up. Call me twice within a couple of hours.

Called twice today, machine male voice claiming to be Vic government, asked about QR code. I wouldn't believe Vic government cold calls people, especially I am in NSW!

So bloody annoying called me 5 times in a bloody row! They're from Victoria, I'm in Sydney. Why the hell are they calling so many times? I reckon it's a scam. When I tried to call them back they gave me a different 6 digit number to call.

Automated male voice called saying its from Australian Business/ Government call, voice asks you to say yes, do not respond as could be phishing to record your voice etc, just hang up!!

Claiming to be a government official asking if we need assistance - promoting to leave a reply. In the hope to catch the un-suspected reeling with a "YES". Recording stated it would take no more than 3 minutes- I called with no-caller ID went straight to voice mail.

Caller saying it was Victoria government checking if we needed help with our covid plan?? Dodgy
