Cold called to “verify my details” about an accident I “had”.

After questioning where they were from and to give me details of the alledged accident they hung up.

Same as other comments. I couldn't understand name of insurance company. 'You had a no-fault accident earlier this year". Passed me to her supervisor, Imran. After I asked for the rego of the vehicle involved he hung up.

Recorded message with poor grammar and computerised voice.

"Your warrant is up for arrest. If you want to cancel your warrant call us on (03) 9028 8147. I repeat call us on 03 9028 8147. This is final warning."

Caller: "Web Security"

Web Security also go by the name International Security. They install malicious software in your computer. I fell foul of the scam 3 1/2 years ago, but had the software removed by a reputable Australian IT Security Co 3 days later so no harm was done to my computer. I am still continually harassed by them threatening to debit my acct, legal action etc. I have told them that I have not used their "security software for 3 1/2 years but they still insist. They are on Scam Watch Alert. Beware folks they use piggyback phone numbers, they even used my old home phone number

I missed the call so I phones back. An indian sounding man answered claiming to be from the Australian Tax Office. When I asked for details he hung up. This is a SCAM !

Called them asked for my name and TFN and when I said I didn't have it handy he rudely said I can't help you and hung up on me...

Scam. They left a Voicemail stating that a order was placed for $299.99c to cancel the order press 1. Scam

Just got a call from this number, recorded message saying its from the ATO and there's a law suite filed under my name, then left a number for me to call back. As if I'll ever call them! Ha!

Got a message saying it I did not call back they would be putting a warrant out for my arrest and the police will soon be on my door step

Purporting to be from the ATO then told me he loved me. Sub-continental accent.

I just received a call from this number (03) 9028 7475 (it's a Melbourne number), when I answered they wanted to talk to me about a car accident a few years ago, I told them that I have never had a car accident and I knew they were trying to scam me and I also told them I was going to report the phone number to the police, they hung up on me

I did have a car accident in January which was not my fault and they told me that I had back and neck pain received from this (which I didnt). Luckily they rang on my home number I didnt give they my mobile number or email address. I told them to send me everything in the post, so they have me address. But I have reported them to the ACCC. I am waiting for them to call me back, now I am ready for them.

This is a scam, this number called me twice today saying I had a car accident.

Indian accent, both times they hung up on me within 1min of the call as soon as I start asking more details.

Said i had, had an accident but obviously scam as i do not drive.
