Caller: Supposedly there Ebay

Called me and said there from EBay as a purchase of a iTunes card of $199 was placed through, and that if I wanted to go ahead with the purchase I said no I don’t want to go ahead , so here’s the beaut she asked me to go onto my App Store and download time viewer quick support app it’s a screen sharing app , I told her why am I downloading this for you to cancel my order if you’re from eBay? She’s like no no this is how we cancel your order . I stopped playing the game with her and told her this is a screen sharing app I will not download it you are not from EBay don’t ever call me again and hung up.

Never ever download an app that is completely different from whom they say they really are. I knew it was a scam call I get these calls everyday I just answered this one and played along .

He said I am calling from Ebay and asked for my full name.

they rang my mobile. their comment sounds not like a human voice. I asked them "are you trying to scam me then they hang up.

Exact same thing happened but he wanted me too open the app as I was driving at the time told him I would ring him back

A woman called and she apparently knew my name. She said I’ve purchased $199 on eBay bla bla bla. I hung up straightaway.

Recorded message saying I had ordered iTunes card and my credit card will be deducted $199.
.....in the past hour I have had six scammer calls. Get to the point were i just will not answer my phone.

As all above. Bogus claim of $190 ebay debit.

Same as above now calling on (03) 9088 1163 as well with credit card to be deducted for an ebay account which I do not have

I just received a call from ebay telling me that I purchased a $199 i-tunes gift card and they have charged my credit card. They were asking if I still want it or a refund.... I politely told them that this is a fraudulent call, i check my cc regularly and I feel sorry for them having to work for such a company, then hung up.

I called back on my work landline and the person who I spoke to was so rude and kept talking back. WHAT A d*ck

They said they were from ebay and they were taking $199 out of my credit card then they hung up.

I got a call from this number today. I didnt answer and left a message. Caller: claimed to be ebay

Claimed that they were about to charge $199 for a gift card, and to call them on a certain number if I didn't want it to happen. Blocked the number - clearly a scam
