Phone off last night so call went to voicemail yesterday which i only just check today, Sep 2 2019.
Looked back at call history & saw number same as above.
No mention of eBay.
Said my account was being debited $199 for purchase of an iTunes card.
I've never bought one in my life!
Didn't listen to anymore, deleted in case somehow they were accessing via my phone (paranoid b4 my first coffee?) Then went checked my bank accounts, thought someone had copied my credit card details!
Then looked up to see if scam n saw this page...glad i never answered their call !!

-I work for a bank and have received a lot of calls regarding this number. They are fishing for other information do not provide any including any confirmation of name or email. They will use this to trick you with emails such as bank or to get access to computer by remote downloadable files.

Claimed that they were about to charge $199 for a gift card, and to call them on a certain number if I didn't want it to happen. Clearly a hoax.

I didn’t pick up but received a voicemail from a computerized voice talking about a $199 iTunes gift card. So glad I always screen my calls!

Caller: "Ebay" apparently.

Rang my mum says something about iTunes vouchers being charged to her credit card through ebay. Coersed her into giving her details over including bank/drivers licence ect also downloading an app through play store to "guide" her on how to send this info ect. In other words gaining access to her phone. SCAM 100%

received a call from this number today, saying I had purchased iTunes and needed to confirm by ringing them back. Didn't ring and reported as a scam.
