Caller: Heavy accent. Gave his name a "Ahmed"

Very hard to understand expect for "NBN" but he had our address. We are due to have NBN guy here to connect NBN later this week. Called the number back a few times got "disconnected" or busy signal. Someone has got access to TPG's information here. TPG should do something about this breach of confidentail information.

I answered the call and they said my nbn black box needs to be replaced and wanted to make an appointment for Saturday afternoon. I didn’t give them any of my details.
They have just tried to call back but I didn’t answer it and they didn’t leave a message

spoke to some one saying she was from nbn saying the black box was faulty and nbn will come out and fix. I was suspicious and asked who my ip is. They answered correctly. Call made some sense as nbn did work in the area last weekend. Gave me an appointment for the nbn technician, but nobody turned up yet.

They said it was NBN, and my box router needed replacement. Calling out of business hours and never leaving a message. Totally a scam

Call from India wanting to confirm my new NBN connection details & wanting some further information (which presumably included my credit card details). He knew my name & NBN appointment time. When challenged, he quickly hung up.

They knew about my booking for NBN installation next week and just confirmed date and and to make sure it was in our business name, if someone would be home, dogs on the premises and gated. Very strong accent hard to understand and they finished off saying technician will be out next week as scheduled and hung up.
I tried to call back as I had some questions and won't allow me to return the call, doesn't even ring just doesn't connect at all.

I received a call from this number today and they left a garbled message. On the same day I received a text claiming to be from Optus saying that my prepaid account was overdue and to click on a link and enter my bank details. Else my service will be severely, quote ‘distrupted’ Five days ago I contacted TPG to set up NBN and then advised them that I would stay with Optus. I think the scam arises from providing my mobile number and interest in changing NBN. I have no intention of calling back. Optus can chase me if they want my business.
