Caller: Pretty sure its NBN

2 missed calls - no message left. I have an NBN instal scheduled for tomorrow so I have to guess it's them.

Would help if they left a message when they called rather than simply hanging up

They keep call even on public holidays or in the night. Took a call once in daytime It was just confirming my request to switching to NBN via TPG even installation schedule was confirmed already. Simply blocked this number.

This number rang me, tried to ring back but engaged signal. Doesn’t make sense because I’m with Optus and people are being called who are with Telstra. I am in the process of trying to get NBN, it’s like someone from these companies is giving them our phone numbers. Deal with Optus on the app and NO mention from them about someone calling me.

It is a legit call re: NBN, either appointments or such. They are still weird though.

Like others I distrusted this number. Kept calling, no message and no way to call back. When answered it was NBN confirming details for a maintenance appointment.

Called to confirm appointment to repair NBN. Knew when the appointment was scheduled for and what was likely at fault. Very polite. Legit.

Scam! Received a call from someone claiming to be from the NBN. They seemed to know my name and mobile number. They wanted to book a time to replace my modem for free. I told them to call me later and then called my ISP. My ISP has always handled any NBN related issues, they confirmed my modem did not need replacing and that they will always be the first point of contact for NBN issues.

Four calls in a short period of time, no recorded message for calls, an hour later after these call no SMS received, which I think would have been sent by a genuine caller.

Called twice no messages left and then I tried to return the call and it doesn't ring, it just hangs up straight away. Weird.

Much the same as other recipients.. heavy voice.. mentioned NBN.. which I ignored and hanged up. He rang back straight away, so just cut him off before he spoke. I notice he tried ringing again (missed call) which will end up in the dustbin (again). What a shame these scammers cant be caught red-handed.

Hi all
This is legitimately the NBN co. It is NOT a spam. they called me to confirm my technician apointment, they had all the information and i didnt need to provide anything. If you ignore the call you probably wont get NBN connected/ fixed.

has called a few times out of hours. Heavy indian accent, poor quality line. Claimed to be from nbn Co and said my modem wasn't working properly and needed to make a time to fix it. Knew my address. Very suss. I am with TPG. My modem is fine. I suspect a security breach.

I received a call from this number, thick accent, said he was from NBN and knew my installation date. Asked to confirm the site address, and whether I would be on site. Asked detailed questions regarding security, pets on premises, other phones etc. I've done previous NBN questions and never been asked these questions so googled the phone number. Looks like a scam.
