Unknown number that appears to be from Telstra according to previous complaints left. I did have an issue with Boost yesterday which is a part of the Telstra network, but it was resolved this morning. So, I have now blocked this number since I don't need it for anything anymore.

Telstra Faults Agent

This is a legitimate Telstra number, I work for Telstra and just did a Test call to myself which displayed this number. Telstra has hundreds of IP numbers that are randomly generated when we call out this is one of them. Repeat, I can confirm this number is legitimate. Most agents don’t know about the numbers as most agents do not have the systems to check only teams in Business/Enterprise can confirm this number is Telstra’s. If you receive a call from this number please ask for a reference case number, ask the agent to place their name in that case if you are still unsure and then Call 132200 to confirm.

This number called me three times in the same day. Each time, it rang only a few times before hanging up and no message was left.

This is a Telstra call back number.

Im sure those that say its a scam might also be correct as you can mimic numbers. Be careful with all calls

This is definitely NOT A SCAM CALLER. I was speaking to Telstra yesterday about my account from transferring from the NBN to a moden. They rang me today (as I did not have time yesterday to listen to the the 15 minute spiel about terms and conditions) SO PEOPLE STOP SAYING THIS IS A SCAM.

This was a call from Telstra complaints. It was legit as I have an active complaint. However, the call sounded dodgy as there was a lot of background noise and the caller had a strong accent.
With the references here to legit calls vs scam calls, there could be some calls with spoofed numbers (so appearing to use a legit Telstra number) and some are actually Telstra.

This is a legitimate Telstra call. In my case it was a Bereavement Support Team call, 100% genuine.

Seemed legit about an existing case. However the operator said she was in Manilla, but the number she came in on was an (03) number - where most of the scam Victorian calls come from. Presumably she didn't mean Manilla NSW. I didn't think Telstra went offshore anymore? Wants personal ID info.

Caller: Telstra nbn - Legit

I moved house and forgot to tell Telstra so my modem wasn’t working. I used the Telstra chat last night through the app to lodge a move request. An Aussie woman named Amanda left a voicemail saying it should all be connected andup and running and the lights on the front should be green (they are). She called again to confirm everything was working and I had no issues.
I agree calling 3 times in one day is a bit much, but THIS WAS NOT A SCAM.

Spoofed numbers are a common thing these days. Ring Telstra on their 13 22 03 number.

Reading through the comments l see simalarities to my experience. My phone blocked this number twice within minutes, so 2 calls. I was on a call that l had made to telstra on their 13 22 03 number. My call to telstra was unexplainably lost. I rang telstra again on 13 22 03. Was this Telstra trying to call me back? I doubt it. Why? It is not the usual way a big organisation or government body calls customers in Australia. For me in this age of scams it is safer not to answer unknown numbers. I always let them go to voice mail, no message no return call. Suspicious message, no return call. Message appears genuine, return call on the number l know and trust. Sorry Telstra if this is your number, you need to do a better job, if you sound like a scam you can't blame people for treating you like a scammer.

Caller: said they were telstra

Got text to say Telstra would call me in 10 minutes, There is no reason for Telstra to be calling me at all, especially after hours so I ignored the call, they then left a message to say to check email, checked email there was no email from Telstra.

It's from Telstra technical and it's legit. I had an issue a week ago and they told me they would phone back to check that things were okay.
