I set up my account with them a few weeks ago and now they ring me every day, they want me to confirm all my details with them over the phone and check "how the set up went". I do not wish to give all my details over the phone when they already have them, and they are the ones ringing me... but now they call every day. Morning, day time (even though I told them never to ring me during business hours) and late at night.

Must be AGL. I changed my electricity about 6 months to another provider and gave them an opportunity to provide their best price. They could not beat the other provider which was fine but I advised them that I would be changing to the other provider and not to call me to try and get my business back. They now continually call. It's very frustrating.

It must be a scam call.
They said they are calling from agl and asking how the set up went through, then ask my address and detail. Then i said to her if you calling from agl how come you don’t know my add and detail? So she just quickly hang up.

Someone from AGL giving me a 'welcome call' for connecting my gas with them which then turned into 'please switch your electricity provider to us' and she would not give up. When I insisted that I was at work and not interested talking about switching she got quite rude so I hung up.

NOT AGL!!!!

I contacted AGL through the number they provided me via an email I had been sent! They told me they will contact you from 131 245 only!! I saved that number to my contacts.

The lady on the scam call her voice message was only “hello” over and over again! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!

Called AGL on 131245 (website #) and they confirmed it actually was them calling and gave a pretty close time for calling, so it seems it is them or their affiliate. But it was a marketing call to get me to sign a gas contract with them. In other words an unwanted call.

Today I had a call from this number and they didn't leave a message. I called them back but no one answered.
I then came onto this portal and looked up the number and saw all the messages stating that they received a call from AGL/scammer. So I decided to get in touch with AGL to see if they had called me and they hadn't. So I would suggest that this caller is a scammer pretending to be from AGL. Please do not give them any of your details. I have reported this number to AGL.

I received a call from this number today but they didn't leave a message. I tried calling it back but no answer.
I check the number out on this forum and saw that it could be a scam so I called AGL to see if they had call me today. There were no records of them calling me so I would assume that this number (03) 8611 5163 is a scam call and NOT AGL...

Same deal, big spiel about it being AGL Energy and want to know how my set up went then asked me to confirm my details. When I questioned why I should give them my details when they called me and clearly had my mobile, and should have all my other details on their files, they hung up.

I have a 2:24 minute voicemail message from them of complete silence (and movement noises). I had a 'welcome call' from them a little while ago as I set up gas with them. The welcome call then turned into a 'you should swap your electricity to us to' call and she would not give up. I told her that I was not going to talk electricity with her and asked her to leave it alone. If I could pay my gas bill I would be happy.... guess she didn't get the memo.
