these guys collect on behalf of charities, but they are an annoying For-Profit company that takes 80% of the donation (they all vary but it is a figure around this).
If you want to support a Charity, bypass these guys and make a donation directly via the Charity website, that way you know where the money went.
The number is blocked using 'Mr Number' App

Do not register your details when you get on Google and told you are selected to win a gift card. This is one of many of those calls which follow, trying to scam you.

Automated Charity caller I am sick to death of unsolicited calls as had ID number as incoming call ​but checked in Modem and number 038588392 but did not shut up once I answered was automated message from Lizzie Dent I hung up, rotten nuisance what do they think they can gain by annoying people the supposed charity will not benefit from their nuisance calls.

Absolute pests, always call at dinnertime. I don't pick up any interstate numbers anymore.

Caller: Very nice sounding lady

The lady on the phone was obviously a recording as she didn’t answer questions that I was asking and just saying what was scripted. Very odd and strange and when I mentioned it to the man that spoke to me later he just laughed it off and said it was a compliment that I say she sounded like a recording. Not very honest and better to go straight to the organisation directly and donate if you wish too.

Really annoying as we get pretty much all (02) phone numbers doing this. We are in VIC.

Phoning continuously. Am elderly and don't need to be bothered with these callers. Why can't they be closed down . Unfortunately, I can't block these calls on landline. I am totally stressed acting for elderly sister and don't need phone ringing with scams etc.

Annoying spammers - as soon as I see an O3 8xxxxx I block it. Not expecting any 03 calls here in QLD and get hammered with them. I figure if you have my number, are genuineand your really need to contact me you will have alternate contact details for me i.e email, text etc

Have had numerous unanswered calls from this number. Answered one on Bluetooth when driving and when I said that it wasn't a good time, caller persisted and tried to give her spiel asking if it was alright to talk. No, I just told you it wasn't. Have blocked this number.

So over these charity calls!!!!!!!!!!!! You block the number and so they ring on another number, as if that is going to make you want to give... Don't they get the hint and stop calling!!
