No-one is selling. A monkey can dial any random number, in this case it's done by computers

Have this number call always 3 times in a row, which I have blocked and put next to number nuisance or scam call, so it no longer rings but the number still will show up on my phone. Pests

Received a call this afternoon, Tues 17 Aug 2021, in Victoria. Phone rang 5 to 6 times then stopped, no message left - as per usual. For every person's information... It does not matter in which state you live, in many cases the calls one receives WILL show as coming from another state. That is just the way things go when dealing with telemarketing companies. Be advised, 9 times out of 10 when receiving calls from so called charities, the calls are NOT coming from the charity concerned. They are coming from a company CONTRACTED to make calls on the charity's behalf. Those contracted companies WILL be paid a percentage of all the funds collected by that organization. Therefore the money one donates to an organization they wish to support through these contracted companies calls DOES NOT reach the stated charity in entirety. If you wish for ALL the funds you provide to go to the charity of your choice, contact them directly through a call you make to them, while also stating that if you receive a telemarketing call seeking funds using details from donations previously given, you WILL NOT support them ever again. State that you wish to receive reminders by normal mail only. It's your money, donate it however you like

I continually get calls from this number which do not acknowledge. They do not leave a message and never do. I find extremely frustrating that the Australian Government's 'Do not Call Register' is not working.

This number calls at lease once a day without fail, lunch time today. As soon as the answer machine finishes its message they hang up. They evidently don't get the message that this phone is not answered no matter how many times they ring. Gives me plenty of exercise getting up to look who is ringing me. How do you block the call on the NBN?
