This appears to be from the same scammer with various phone numbers and reading other responses would not be surprise it is the same person doing this?

They rang home phone then hang up when answering machine started – no message left.
Received a few times over last couple of days.
Number Blocked now

Answered. Nobody answered for 3 seconds. Obviously a computer calling. I hung up and blocked the number.

No message left on voicemail (home phone NBN)... checked this site... have now blocked. Should be an easy one for the authorities to jump on.

Caller: Scammers Claiming to be Next Steps (Domestic Violence Charity)

Pre-recorded message that sounds very life-like of a woman asking for donations. They are claiming to be Next Step - a legit charity that supports victims of domestic violence - however if you google the charity the actual website has a phone scam alert. They are asking for bank account details for a “one off” donation - claiming that they only need three people to pledge and you are the third. Absolutely disgraceful, but scarily sophisticated.

Caller: Next Steps Australia

Claimed to be Next Steps in support of domestic violence. If it's real, sounds like a good cause, but the way they are going about it is terrible. Was an unsolicited call, pushy, hung up rudely after I politely explained that I couldn't donate now but will look into it later. Not the way to gain support.

Missed call. No message left. Why aren't these pest callers having their phones permanently disconnected by the authorities on all numbers they use??

Rang only a few times. No chance for answering machine to cut in. In light of previous reviews, I have now blocked this number.

Humbugs ! Never leave a message. Once I see the # I never answer.

Caller: Lizzy Pearl from some charity

computer made voice same voie always but always changed her name. today was lizzie pearl. hung up on them

left message 'hello' and nothing else. phoned at 6:53 pm and I wont be phoning them back. I believe they have rung before and are after donations for their cause

Caller: The woman caller I d’d herself saying her name was Lily(or Lizzie?) Dent. Do not know anyone so called, so hung up

Probably a method of getting money sounding toooo personal as if making it authentic

These pests will not give up. I blocked the number after they butted into my life without even leaving a message. But even though they didn't want to speak to me, the pathetic idiots keep trying to call me - at dinner time, of course. Give up, losers.

says Clayton location Melb...sick to death of these calls :( they have nothing better to do ...If I need whatever service I will look it up myself do not need to waste my time with these idiots who cannot get through their thick heads how annoying they are ...you (these services?)loose credibility this way you do not gain them ...so go find yourself a proper job!!

This number called both my landline, then mobile in last 2 days (x1 once p/day)...so suspect this org has purchased numbers from a database seller to SPAM people....
have also looked up user comments on this number linked to a company called 'NEXT STEPS AUSTRALIA'.... it "seems" to be a registered business via ABN Search:

HOWEVER scam artists can 'pose' a companies to scam people.....given the nature of angry posts against this phone number - suggest everyone BLOCKS / reports this scam to Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman....

I missed the call, so called back and message said you are calling Australia’s leading fundraising centre. They then said they were calling on behalf of a major charity. At end of message it just hangs up
