Constant calls from (03) 8001 8990 and other similar numbers looks like some scammers have the number range from (03) 8001 8000 to (03) 8001 8999.

Called from " health centre". To conduct survey. Asked my given name. Included "yes" in answer. He hung up

I received a call from a man by the name of Mark. He said he was calling to conduct a health survey. He was calling from the same number that has been linked to a number of phone scams. I hung up on him immediately.

Hung up when I answered. Have blocked.

The call came through as (03) 8001 8990, which suggested to me it was from overseas. When I answered and said hello there was a short pause and they hung up without speaking. I'm treating it as an unwanted call - spam or call centre. It's good to be able to pop the number in and see everyone's feedback on particular numbers - thx all

Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Forgot to add to my recent enty that it came up on my phone as (03) 8001 8990, so it was potentially from overseas (when he hung up the caller list merely recorded (03) 8001 8990 but when I was on the phone the phone showed the +61 in front of the number),

I found the call suspicious. Possibly a call centre trying to sell something. It was hard to hear over the background "chat" noise, was saying something about health. I couldn't hear so he ended up hanging up.

I rang the number back and it is an organisation and they want you to participate in a survey - have blocked the call
