Caller: Energy Commissioner (not really)

Indian accent guy said sending me free energy saving product and ask for my address. When asked which address he sent it to, he said he cant tell me.

I just answer with an accent "Hello, Oakleigh Pizza, can I take your order?" and they hang up every time.

They ring every blood day! They don’t leave messages, when you answer they hang up and on the odd occasion when they talk they hang up when you ask them who are you looking for. I have blocked the number after every call but they have so many computer generated numbers it never ends

Caller: A lady with an Asian accent

She knew my first name and asked if I had received what she sent me. She said she was from green world services. I asked how she got my number and she hung up. I called the number and it was able to connect.

This is in reply to the suggestion that it may be a legit call promoting a Vic Govt program. I would like people to be cautious when receiving unsolicited calls/emails/text message.

Yes, the calling is calling a FNQ number (mine) ID'ing themselves as promoting a Vic Govt Scheme.- I am not in Victoria! I don't live in Vic nor have any association whatsoever with Victoria. This technique is typical of a scammer to try to steal a legit ID to get your trust. etc...

PLS BE CAREFUL.

This isn’t a scam. Victorian government is offering a number of incentives to residents to upgrade their water heaters, heaters and power monitors.

Can we send this whole block of workers a missile?

I wish these guys would piss off , they don’t leave you alone , I have important calls that I wait on from hospitals and doctors ,so I have to answer them , just a waste of time , cannot ever understand them .

Make sure you are the DNC list and then report them to the DNC. I had a business I once did business with keep calling in spite of my repeated requests to stop calling and to remove me from their database. They kept calling. After the formal complaint was lodged I have not heard from them again.

I tried to call back several times and the call would not connect. No voicemail left. Came on here and see from others its another scammer call.

Called my mobile and they didn’t leave me a voicemail message on it

Repeated calls from same number. Have already told them I have a power monitor and to stop calling me. Think they’re legit as always polite and apologetic. But sick of telling them to take my number off their list so now just block them.

Caller: an Assie woman who wouldn't give me her name but she knew my name

Just received a call on my mobile phone from this person who hung up as soon as I asked for her name. Tried several times to call her back on her Victorian landline no (03) 7067 5103 but it won't connect

i got this spiel from them today, and asked for their ABN (public record), they told me i wasn't allowed to have it and i just need to believe they work for the local government agency. i told them as they called a business phone they either need to purchase what i sell or i will be handing the recording to the federal police. they told me to "go ahead, they cant do anything to us" then got hung up on.

Hang up when I answered.

It is a scam. I tried to call back, the call could not be connected, please check the number and try again.

Man with an Indian Accent, claiming to be working for GOVT claiming you can save money on energy. Wanted to know if I had a smart phone. I said NO and then there was no response. Hung up and I blocked them

Caller: Claimed to be from Australian Government

Heavy Indian accent, claiming to be from Australian Government energy department, confirming if I wanted a meter attached to my smart meter. Obviously a scam trying to get personal details. I asked where they got my number, because I’m on the “Do not Call” register & he said “the government gave it to us”. Yeah, right!!! 😂 Hung up
& blocked number.
