Caller: Scammer

Came up as Scam call on my phone, answered it anyway. An Indian scammer tried to tell me they were sending me something from the government and needed my address, gave them 1 Spring St Melbourne 3004 attn Daniel Andrews. He said they would call me in a few weeks when it arrived as I would need to sign for it, no problems.

Suspected Scam alert on my mobile phone: Picked up but nobody answered (twice)

Definitely scam!! This number called me and asked if I was so and so (my name) and I answered ‘yeah’ then he intro’ed him as Eddie and asked if I had received the light bulbs… I answered ‘yeah?…’ and he quickly said ‘great! Thank you.,!…’ and then hanged up. I called back the number and it was engaged all the time! Can the authorities trace the number and prosecute these scammers??

I think tats a made up name. Was trying sell house cladding.

Caller: Energy promo scam

Called me, had access to my name, began the energy meter scam by asking if I’d had my free energy meter installed yet.

Called and said it was a confirmation call. When asked how he got my number because it was unlisted and also on do not call register, he got angry and then hung up!

Going by previous experiences of others just blocked the call. Especially seeing they tried calling me at 8.30pm, no voicemail left

I suspected scam, gave the silent treatment to them, and they hung up after about 5 seconds. Put on Block on my samsung.

Received 5 times with (03) 7067 5103 , 70675105 number. don't know where is come from, scam- no message left

Called me at the start of Socceroos game, let it go to voicemail at 8pm.
Listened to voicemail, someone saying hello with very noisy telemarketer background.

Rang me twice but I didnt answer. Now blocked.

Same here, some energy device, two calls so far so I have blocked them. They are persistent that's for sure :(
