Caller: Noah from EMS

Caller had an Indian accent. Said EMS is a company called Electronic Monitoring Services and then hung up after I asked for his details.
(He knew my name)

Caller: Unknown, didn't say.

aid Hi and used my name. Introduced himself as Eddie calling on behalf of Victorian Government to find out if I have received my free in-home display energy monitor. I asked if he could advise where he got my details. He said "No I Cannot" and hung up.
2 hours and 37 minutes later I get a call from (03) 7067 5106. Same deal. See my comments under that number.
Do not give these people any information.
As somebody working in the energy efficiency industry, I can assure everyone that the Victorian Government DO NOT CONDONE anybody calling you and stating they are calling on behalf of the Victorian Government. This is a huge No-No for anyone legitimately in the Energy Efficiency business as the Victorian Government crack down hard on anyone who does this with huge fines and expulsion from participating in the program.. If they are a genuine Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program related company, they will know that they are not allowed to state this.

Caller: EMS

Caller knew my name. Noisy call centre sounds in background. I asked where he was calling from. He said EMS. I asked why he was calling. He said EMS is a company called Electronic Monitoring Services and asked it’d i had my “free” government electricity monitoring system. I asked how his company got my number. He mumbled something. I said I appreciated that he had a job to do but that I don’t like getting these sort of calls. He hung up. I then got two more calls within the hour from same number but with different final digit

Said from ems called me by name. This is 3rd call from similar numbers. All now blocked

Caller: (03) 7067 5104

Got a call from this same number. When I picked the call, I did not hear anything but I went ahead to pop the number on google - that was how I was able to read all the comments.

didn't answer it they seem to ring around the same time most days. And then they change the number by a digit. So this will be reported and blocked

Didn't any the phone but voicemail was a guy with a heavy accent and he said my name. No doubt a scammer or someone trying to sell something.

If people could just stop falling for scams, they would stop ringing. It ain't that hard, folk. Does my head in they keep trying to call.

I missed the call but a message was left. I listened to the message and it was a pathetic attempt at heavy breathing..... I laughed as I blocked the number.

Two spam calls came in one after another. The second one was an indian sounding woman and appeared to be calling from a loud call centre. Knew my name. Asking if I had some power saving device received from the government. Asked her where she got my name from.and she hung up. Blocked and reported.

Foreign man claiming to be NBNs security department

Received a call from (03) 7067 5104 just after receiving a call from 0398467045536. Not even an valid no. Cannot call it back. Came up as suspected spam call on my Samsung security

Two calls to day from similar numbers. Blocked the first one and they rang back on another one (now blocked). Hardly understood a word of strongly accented Indian woman but sounded like con job so hung up.

Second call today. Lady knew my name. Wanted to know if I had received some power saving device? I hung up.

Caller answered the phone with a "May I please speak to..." - They used my maiden name. Very busy call-centre style background, was difficult to hear.
Instead of answering, I asked with whom I am speaking to, the person said "EMS. Now may I speak to..."
I did not confirm my name, I asked what company is EMS, as I'm not familiar with it. Caller rudely said "Doesn't matter" and hung up.

Just hang.

Missed the call. No message left. Has happened several times in recent months from similar phone numbers. These numbers aren’t known to me.

Call went straight to message bank, no message left.
