Impersonating PayPal for ‘a matter I would know about ‘ mispronounced my name and when I asked for a callback number and case ID the called me a bitch and hung up

Call at 11:30am from Victoria, no message left.

Vic number that rang my mobile at 11.03am Saturday. No message left.

Caller: Apparently Commonwealth Bank

Said that someone tried to pay $1800 using my card and to press 1 to confirm.. hung up.. also getting same nuisance call from similar Melbourne numbers includin (03) 7053 1588, (03) 7053 1595

Caller: Claimed she was PayPal

Claimed an unknown overseas transaction was trying to take my money.

Call and said he was from the Visa and Mastercard investigations company or some such rubbish. Claimed that someone had tried to use my card to purchase crypto. And just to be sure, wanted to know which bank I was with!?! Absolute scam. Hung up on the bastard with a few choice comments.

Saying its from federal police only a audio message

Ph (03) 7053 1522 called me saying they were from Amazon and they want to block my IP address that was showing up in California. I got suspicious and hung up, she was Indian

Apparently from Telstra
Wanted me to change my IP address
Saying my IP address is now public and people were trying to buy gift cards on my account from America.

I was pretty bored so I listed and kept him on the phone.

Called today from Melbourne, Victoria. Did not leave a message. Blocked.
