Caller: Indian scammers Indian scammers - (03) 7042 8974 rung my landline multiple times over several days in May 2023 and never left a message when I let the unknown number divert to my answering machine
Finally I answered the call today. A man with a strong Indian accent was very difficult to understand I asked him what company he was calling from and how he got my number His Indian accent was so heavy and hard to understand, I still couldn't work out what business he supposedly represented and what he was selling I had previously screened this call. He said he would call me again later, and I replied "No you wont" I asked him why he had called me so many times and not left a message on my answering machine. I said I was on the "Do Not Call Register" and he can be fined for calling me. I could hear a Call Centre in the background. He spoke extensively in Indian to his supervisor or colleague then hung up on me

Rang my landline, did not recognize number no message left. Rang number and got recorded message. " this mail box is full, cannot accept any messages at this time, goodbye". No doubt a scam.

Caller: Shaun Anderson (not sure this is true name) Very strong Indian accent informed that under the Victorian Energy Upgrade giving free shower heads and weather shields. Asked how many doors I needed to give whether shields. I told him that I need to verify his caller ID first. He said his company is Home Labs. He struggled spelling his first name as well as the Company name and finally hung up on me. Though my number is undisclosed and previously in the 'Do not call register' got my home number, and said he knows only the post code. Probably a Scammer.

If only something could be done about these relentless scamming pests. Now this number's targeting me: calling but not leaving a message (as usual with scammers). I'm fed up to the back teeth with it. There seems to be a new number to block every single day - but my phone will only store 30 blocked numbers.
