This number phoned me claiming to be from the Bank of Melbourne and a suspicious overseas debit on my account. They wanted me to download an app on my phone. I said I needed to get my glasses and just left them on hold until they eventually hung up and then they tried calling my phone immediately on three other different numbers which I didn’t answer but blocked all four. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

This number called my place of business. After I answered with the business intro, CLICK!

The called saying they were fundraising on behalf of the NEXT Steps Domestic Abuse charity. Pushed for a $100 one time payment then pushed for an additional $50. I became suspicious when they transfered from an Australian female to an Indian male who then asked for my birth date. I have contacted NEXT to identify if this fundraising is happening on their behalf and to tell them how dodgy it is if they are.

Let it go to voice mail as I do all non-identified numbers. No message, indicative of a scam caller.
