Energy comparison calling on behalf of the government. Wanting to advised that my energy bill is doubling up. He advised that my bill will be charged extra. I advised I don’t own a house or rent, nor do pay the electricity bill and he insisted that I do, theres a bill with my name. I advised that I do not and he tried to argue, he then hung up.

This is SCAM call.

The auto-dialler no. that tried me was: (03) 7020 5688... called back from a diff no. as verification & got busy signal.

Given the looong string of complaints against several numbers, I propose to everyone:
1. Block ALL phone number extensions from (03) 7020 5600-5699 (‘they’ have probably bought them all.
2. Report your complaint to TIO - Telco Industry Ombudsman
3. Report your complaint to ACCC to investigate wider mandate on nuisance/harassment/unsolicited calls.
4. Keep a log of time/date & which phone number tried to call you - to stop this garbage & as always, EVIDENCE of patterns of harassment is King.

Caller: Energy company

Continually calls. Block the number but they still get through. How does that happen?!

Woman claiming to be from an energy company asked if I had an account with them, I said no I'm with another company that I'm happy with. She got aggressive and said she wasn't asking if I was happy or had an account with another company. I said I would report her number to the Australian Communications and Media Authority and she said "you can report me to whoever you want" LOL

This number is calling me 3+ times a day and always hangs up, never speaks... Really sick and tired of it... ARGH. Next time they call I am going to answer with city morgue, you kill em we chill em!!!!

Have called several times after hours in the last week. Call back, number doesn’t work. Scam.

A foreign-voiced male spoke indistinctly something about energy, but I couldn't hear clearly so he said he would call back.
I'm now ready for a scam response. Something along the line of "I'm so glad you called, Louie, I did what you said and now there is blood everywhere, what should I do now?"

Caller: 0424 684 141 & (03) 7020 5688 & (03) 7010 4378.

They called me 3 times in 20 minutes... on 3 different numbers. Each time I answered a voice recording would say it was Amazon and I owed them $79.

I called one mobile number back, a lady with an Indian accent answered. I asked her to stop calling and that I was taking this to AFP.

She would not tell me her name and got very aggressive.

Called last night and again today. Writing these numbers down and getting my referee whistle out. I answer because doctors etc no longer have a name when they call so never sure who it is.

Tried to return the call , couldn't get a connection so number is now blocked

This number has called me on a Friday night after 8pm and then twice on a Saturday and Sunday. When I have yelled 'hello' what do you want they just hang up. I am about to lodge a complaint on this number with the amount of calls they make it is getting ridiculous. Let me tell you I pity the person that does attempt to speak to me as they are going to cop an earful
