Yes it's FedEx its probably sometime you ordered from overseas and you need to pay Gst and custom expenses because it's over $1000.00 in value.

Caller: Fedex Maybe or a scam part of Fedex...either way its a scam....Trust me PLEASE READ

These people do this all the time, I import from overseas and i am aware of any duties and taxes that i have to pay, knowledge is the key to overcoming this scam, yes it is a scam, as i constantly get asked to pay duties from these people when i know i do not, but each time they try it on to extract extra cash out of me, the scam is part of Fedex as they know my name and business. Always ask for an invoice to be sent to you to breakdown the costs, you will soon see where they are adding additional dollars to your bill, what annoys me the most is these people are getting away with daylight robbery and nothing is being done about it, when the truth finally comes out, they just say sorry it was a mistake. I pray & hope this helps everyone, stay safe.

It is Fedex, I was receiving something from overseas and customs wanted to confirm the contents of the parcel. It's not over $1000 or anything like that.

This is a valid FedEx number. They rang but did not leave a message. A few minutes later I received an email from Fedex with a shipping document for an item I had ordered from the US. The email said:
"Your shipment is currently delayed under clearance process. We immediately require your FULL NAME for customs clearance. Please supply the required info to this email with your tracking number on the subject."
As the shipping document only had my first name initial FedEx just needed my full name. No problems. Yes, they should have left a message to say who they were, but its a high volume company.....

Not spam. Actually FedEx, and you probably have to pay GST and Import charges.

It is a scam. I have no reason for Fedex to call me. I did not recognise the number so I did not answer.

I have now received two calls at work from this number. I do not order anything for work from the States, or anywhere else for that matter, and the caller talks so fast I cannot get the tracking number written down, even if I did want to check on it. I deleted both phone messages.

Legit Fedex call. If you buy something from Amazon or another retailer that uses Fexex and they need to reach you for something, this number will call you.

This is a real number, It might come up on your phone as a potential fraud but it is real, if you don't trust it call fedex direct 132610 or if its customs use the 1800 111 112.

Caller: Fedex???

So I got paranoid because of all the people here saying it is a scam so although I really was expecting a parcel from the US and to pay customs, I called Fedex on their listed number of 132610 and paid the duties/tax that way. They confirmed that I needed to pay customs.
I suggest people do that if they feel nervous but are really expecting a parcel and don't want to call back on that number.
