Company called "Active Offers" Hung up on answering ,.. possible scam/telemarketer Caller: Active Offers
Indian accent yelling down the phone at me that I needed an Internet Service. Repeatedly said I did not have an internet. Finally yelled I do not have an internet. Goodbye. Had difficulty disconnecting call. Very agressive person.
Got two calls, no voicemail left, so now blocked Caller: (03) 5897 3001
How is it that here in Australia, we have to put up with these so & so idiots from India and they are rude & aggressive as well! I rang the number back from my home phone, when they picked up, they just went straight into their sales pitch, I said you do t even know who I am! I then asked him what country are you from, he said India, I then asked him why do the numbers & areas come up on the phone as being from local Victorian suburbs. This kind of trash needs to be stopped! Is anyone doing anything about it?! Telstra, politicians?
Fkn Spam most likely didn’t leave a voice message How do they get our number? They are annoying! Hang up when answer. Scam call just block this number. hung up when answered Caller: Active offers
Two calls from these clowns today. The first telling me that a major telco is installing "fibre optical cables" to my house and would I like to take advantage of their offers? The poor use of industry nomenclature was a dead giveaway of the spurious nature of the call, as was the fact that they said an old suburb that I lived in and then gave the post code - ostensibly for that suburb - as for my office approx. 100 km away. I told him he was an idiot and needed to do better research if he wanted to defraud people.
Second call was much more aggressive, pushing their vendor comparison service but asking a bunch of questions really not relevant to comparing RSPs.
Pretty sure their objective is phishing for personal info. Give them nothing except a dose of invective.
spam Caller: I did not get a name
I wonder how this number got my mobile number. And I was told my bill was in arrears, when our bills come in my husband's name. I have had similar calls from a different Victorian number. It is most annoying. And I wonder if these scammers can access my bank account.
why do they hang up on answering the phone I have received a number of calls over the last couple of weeks on my mobile.Unfortunately I answered one was greeted by an aggressive Indian male who seemed to know who my energy provider was & proceeded to try to ger me to change mt Internet provider. When I wouldn't change he became more aggressive.I asked what company he was from but couldn't understand reply he said it was owned by Telstra I think SCAM. Caller: (03) 5897 3001 Active Offers - cold calling telemarketers
They robocall. They just go down the list of numbers whether you're on Do Not Call or not.
Call insesently. Just trying to sell internet broadband and then started on about my phone. They call me twice a day daily. I haven’t normally picked up as I’m sick of these places calling me. I decided to pick up today. And asked why they were calling, I immediately said I wasn’t interested and hung up. Just a few moments ago they called again. This honestly needs to stop. I’m sick of getting all these calls daily bs caller always hangs up, ive blocked the number, but it can still get through... how?????? if i ever get to speak to someone they will cop some foul language from me Caller: (03) 5897 3001
