Answered called from (02) 9937 8405 they said they were from P&O cruises letting me know they now have a call centre and if I was interested in taking another cruise soon. Knew me by name! I said no but the guy kept prompting to find out when I was going on holidays etc. said I wasn’t interested and ended the call. I now get calls from this number every second day!!! I’ve now blocked it. If it’s truly P&O cruises they need to stop harassing people.

Save the Children is a decent group that do a lot of good. I've donated to them every month for some time and recieve monthly information via e-mail on where donations are currently being utilised such as personnel involved, equipment and programs being funded and such. They phoned me on this number to tell me that my credit card has been cancelled and asked if I would like to renew my donation with another card or simply end my monthly donation. It's not nearly as bad as some sort of hard sell telemarketer.

How do you cancel donation? I can't find out how from their website...

Wierd people on this number are calling my 13 year old on her mobile. Jusy why? Not a legitamate charity

they called from this number today saying they were from P+O cruises

I answered but no-one spoke. I rang the number back and got an automated message saying it was P&O cruises and they would "call me back." Definitely a scam.

Called me and just hung up after I picked up, and it's happening a few times, how weird....

This sounds like a scam posing as Save the Children. I have had multiple calls that drop or hang up.
I will put a block on this number and prob should contact STCF if people have used this number and spoken using their good name.
No one has spoken as yet to me.
Please report this if anyone else has trouble, if we don't there is no way that they will be stopped. thanks. :)

I received the same woman, 3 times over 2 days, claiming they are from Yellow Brick Road, I asked where they got my name (yes my name) and mobile phone number from and they said their marketing department, I asked to speak with a supervisor and she tried to end the call. I said I was going to ring Yellow Brick Road and report to ACMA and she freaked

They have been trying me for about a week now, i currently pay a monthly amount to this charity but obviously they didn't recieve this months 'cheque'. Going to put them on block.

I agreed to donate every month too. Then they said there was a problem with my credit. They call me at 8am too. Then they keep call me with the number but hang up when I received the phone. It's annoying. I have blocked this number. Never want to see it again

They called me and called me until I answered and then told me that there was something wrong with my credit card and I said what do u mean and they told me they couldn't take any money I told them no because I cancelled my donations per month as I can not afford it and they told me that I had signed a 2 year contract with them and i was unable to break it otherwise they charge a lump sum.
I thought this was a charity not a credit agency. I just said u are not getting my details I do not want to donate anymore and I hung up ever since then I have been constantly harassed through phone and email so I blocked. Pathetic charity I think I would rather donate to people that do not abuse people that give part of their earnings

Same - unsolicited nuisance calls that are cut off after a few seconds. Absolute pests.
