I got sucked in to a 3 year contract with Employsure and it cost my company approx. $22,000. When i went to cancel you have to provide at least 6 months notice. I hadnt heard anything from them for 2.5 years then when i cancelled i was getting intimidated with phone calls and emails about having meeting with them etc. One guy who kept emailing and phoning - i looked him up on LinkedIn and his title was Client Retention Manager. In other words the meeting was all about us staying on. NO WAY. DO NOT waste your money on this scamming company.

After 3 years locked into a contract with Employsure, we are so happy to be out and having nothing to do with them.
Their service is terrible across all departments, their contracts are generic and staff are mostly unqualified to be doing what they claim to be doing.
Be warned, they are an expensive, incompetent "advice" service, and you will be disappointed.

Employsure are scammers and dishonest and unethical business operators. They deceive small businesses, provide dirty 'advice' and cover up their mistakes. They are fraudsters and have been successfully prosecuted in the Full Federal Court. Time to shut these scum bags down. If you're in a contract with these people, tell them it's void and you don't intend to pay them, and contact your bank to cancel any direct debit authorisation. They are shameful and know that they are bullies stealing from people who don't know better, and picking on award employees afforded basic protections, rights and what should be a fair and just system.

A number in their law firm Employsure Law do not currently have practising certificates including a team leader meaning they are not entitled to call themselves lawyers. That's why most of their work is doing conciliations in the Fair Work Commission. Most of the real litigation gets sent out to another law firm even by their internal insurer Employsure Protect

They definitely try and act as if they are Fair work. They have been harassing me for over 10 years across two different businesses. I am glad i have found this page so I know exactly how to deal with the next call. Harassment comes to mind

Read Emplosure site in depth. Applied for job in sales, seeking to move up chain to higher level services role. Felt the organisation held a sense of ethics of value to SME's in Australia. Felt I could be an advocate, as described many organisational culture values aligned with good service. Went to candidate intake round. Boiler Room. Majority male, aggressive sales room built on false confidence illegitimacy likely to piss off anyone on the other side of the phone. Even had a bell to ring for successful closes, leader board of sales, overt emasculated aggressive sales culture incongruent with values expressed by organisation (cold calling isn't easy, but really?). Half of room a boiler room dictated by sleezy authoritarian inauthentic excitement, other half empty (where apparently the actual services team sit—maybe working form home... all of them?) Lack of diversity, pushy system built like Wolf of Wall Street. Unfortunate and clearly deserves a quality shakedown, not cool Employsure—not Australian—just dodgy. Where are the ethics to support SME's? I'd say go local, find a small and local HR team that is a part of your community and establish a long lasting relationship.

Do your research before signing up. Employsure offer general advice for a handsome price. They offer cookie cutter contracts which you can get elsewhere much cheaper. In my opinion they don't really need to exist.

Much of what they do is available for free if you look online. They don't want you to realise this though. Have a look at their job ads, they offer handsome commissions on sales people. You are much better off getting a cheaper service or getting advice only when you need it. You will basically speak to a uni student type person if you call them who will put you on hold and then read the award back to you, which you can get for free anyway. It is like having your hand held while you learn to ride a bike. At the start it all seems scary but after a bit you don't need it.

depends when you signed it, if you signed during the period when they had the penalty clause in it (any late amounts mean the whole contract is payable immediately) then part of the contract is invalid, and under consumer law operates as though there is no exit clause. Go to small business ombudsman in your state for help. Explain what happened and they will negotiate on your behalf.

They called me from a different number. (03) 9081 4747

I found this listing by doing a search. Clearly a dodgy business which should be avoided at all costs. For reference:

I agree 100% with the previous comments. The Department of Fair Trading has already taken them to Court and won concerning this scam Company. Why do they allow them to continue to Trade and rip people off? Close them down. They have continued to obtain money from unsuspecting companies with their dodgy company.

The worst company we ever deal with.
After wrong represantation on fair work ombudsman last year(i heard fair work already took action about that after a lot of complaints from the public) my wife was looking for a few answers about staff e.t.c
She arranged a meeting with a representative from employsure and under false pretentions she signed a 5 year contract.
When we realised the contract was for 5 years and not for 3 as my wife believe until then it took calls and calls and emails until we came in an arrangement to end the contract immediately with a last small payment.
After few days they send us the last invoice, that was paid the same day,so the next day we received an email with the confirmation of cancelation of contract.
After 6 months we got the business credit report from veda and a big shock,we have a default from employsure for the last invoice that paid the same exact day.
Thats all honestly what happened and we have all the conversations and emails which prove the truth of all the above.
Please avoid this company, they are scammers and they dont really help with anything, once i called to ask something and the representative didnt even know what to answer.

How do you get out of the contract, I have been paying for 3 years, sent them an e mail to say I was going to cancel and was told I could not do so. They have not fulfilled their part of the agreement and have not provided sound advise.

These Guys led me to believe they were apart of Fairwork, Thankfully i did not proceed with them but because i made one phone call i have been constantly called by them for the last 2 years, i have repeatedly asked for my number to be removed from the calling list. I would recommend not engaging
