    Scam
    Australia
Stay away! Run if you can! These guys are major scammers.

Pretending to be fair work then coming to you and scaring you into singing a $5500 contract (their minimum). Yet I only had two employees. You say it's too much and then they get angry at you for coming to your place of work and not signing.

They scare you by saying your not practicing to code and "good Luck if you don't sign with us" your in some serious trouble. (Which I was not. Not at all) then I try and exit the contract and I'm told I can not. They delay for months then finally tell me I need to pay $1300 to exit. When I was only signed for a few months and overseas for the first 24 days.

What they say they will do:
    1.create personalised employment contracts
    2. Someone will come to your place of work and spend the day with you, following you around and then
    3. Write a full handbook for all staff covering all areas of your business (this was the main reason I signed) believing I would be saving 20 hours of man power)
    3. Write and send out memos and amendments.
    4. Give you 24/7 advice on their advice line.

    What they deliver:
    1. Call anytime outside 9-5pm and good luck getting on to anyone
    2. Someone came, spent 45 minutes with me and then produced two pages to do with my business and the remainder was 'cut and paste' the same for everyone.
    3. Absolute 'cookie cutter' same document for everyone except the last page that you fill out yourself! For contracts.
Forget about them printing the contracts or sheets either they will only send you digital copies.

I am now taking this company to fair trading and warn you! Don't go with them!!!

I have since gone bankrupt from their extreme fees and advice. Finally turning a profit for a few months, met Employsure and went $45 k into debt from their advice! Terrible advice. Stay away!

    Hi,

In recent months we have been approached by many employers who claim they have been locked-in to expensive, multi-year contracts with Employsure.

We have brought this to the attention of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and state/territory Fair Trading ministers.

If you have more information about Employsure's own particular practices, please contact us at complaints @ workforceguardian.com.au and we'll pass the information on to the relevant authorities.

    Kind regards,
    David

We too were scammed. Rang Fair Work about problems with one employee. Then got a phone call from Employsure saying they had been advised we could need help. Went on Google to research Employsure and came up with Fair Work. Consequently thought we had the best group to help us with employees. The rest is the same. All our research led back to Fair Work and the interview assured us we would not be held to any term agreement if we found our business in trouble and not having need for employees. Now we are closed up NO EMPLOYEES and have recently been listed with Credit ban because we have closed the bank account they have continued to draw money from when we advised them in writing that we were cancelling the agreement and wanted them to cease drawing money out. They ignored every communication and continued to take their monthly extortion money out. Eventually we had no choice but to Close the bank account fully to prevent further drain and allow funds to pay more deserving people. I think its time for a Class action of sorts to put this company into a place of receiving the stress and pain and grief they are putting on small business they have scammed into believing they are genuine govt backed.

Employsure pretend to be part of Fair Work and to provide free advice. This is a ruse to reel in unsuspecting business owners who typically do not have dedicated HR support. Once signed up the service received for the monthly fee is less than what you would get if you used the Fair work information line. Beware of this rip off mob.

Don't believe what you read, you'll be in great hands with Employsure - Work Force G are trying to compete with them and because they simply can not the resort to slander and false reviews.
I know clients of Employsure who have signed 150K plus contracts over 5 years and are extremely happy with their support and advice in fact I believe over 96% of the clients are very happy!

Employsure, high pressure sales, trying to extract money for workplace 'help'. They do everything possible to sign you up including lie about my employee contacting them for assistance, when in fact they cold-called my business a week earlier to find out who the decision maker is, then make a follow up call to me with lies. BEWARE, dodgy practices from a company I would never want to be involved with.

    Hi Julie C,

Please note that Employsure is not a 'representative for Fair Work Australia'. We are aware of many employers who appear to be under the impression that this private company is endorsed or otherwise recommended by the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) or the Fair Work Commission (FWC). This is incorrect, and has been brought to the attention of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and state/territory Fair Trading ministers.

You may be interested in our recent blog about this: http://www.workforceguardian.com.au/resources/blog/beware-of-competitors-pretending-to-be-the-fwo/

If you have more information about Employsure's own particular practices, please contact us at complaints @ workforceguardian.com.au and we'll pass the information on to the relevant authorities.

    Kind regards,

    Caller: Employsure

The fact they call their website fairworkhelp is blatantly trying to deceive people. Anyway it is worth contacting your small business ombudsman if you need help as you may have signed a contract with illegal terms in it, such as the penalty clause demanding full payment if you miss a payment. That term is illegal and invalid. Google Employsure and high court and you will be on your way to getting out of something if you have buyers remorse.
The reason they offer a good customer service is that is all you're really paying for. Almost everything else they offer is available for free from the fair work website or the award. If you want help then maybe use them or someone else, but if you are motivated to learn for yourself then read the award and fair work calculator, you will find you don't need them. Their trustpilot reviews are mostly fake, tons of people raving about them, having written only 1 review ever. It's marketing people, be careful

I think everyone needs to get together to get rid of this poison that preys on small business and then attack them after they are not even in business anymore. After the high rates we were told we had to pay our employees we could no longer compete so lost tenders that we would normally have won. Not sure how to go about it maybe ACA

Entered this number into my CPR Call blocker. Another one gets the fake fax machine sound and loses money on the call, Stuff the do not call register. Best 80 bucks I've ever spent is this call blocker. 1200 memories. You can manually enter the number or press the big red Block Now button while the call is looped. Bye bye and DON'T BOTHER ME AGAIN. This gadget and this site. What a dynamic duo!

Do your research before signing up. Employsure offer general advice for a handsome price. They offer cookie cutter contracts which you can get elsewhere much cheaper. In my opinion they don't really need to exist.

Much of what they do is available for free if you look online. They don't want you to realise this though. Have a look at their job ads, they offer handsome commissions on sales people. You are much better off getting a cheaper service or getting advice only when you need it. You will basically speak to a uni student type person if you call them who will put you on hold and then read the award back to you, which you can get for free anyway. It is like having your hand held while you learn to ride a bike. At the start it all seems scary but after a bit you don't need it.

depends when you signed it, if you signed during the period when they had the penalty clause in it (any late amounts mean the whole contract is payable immediately) then part of the contract is invalid, and under consumer law operates as though there is no exit clause. Go to small business ombudsman in your state for help. Explain what happened and they will negotiate on your behalf.
