Claiming to be ATO wanting me to fall back other wise I’m in big trouble.

A recorded message said - verbatim:

"Do not disregard this message and if you do not call us back and we do not hear from your solicitor either then get ready to face the legal consequences. Good bye and take care"

A scam!!

Scammer, script sounded like a 4-year old wrote it.

threat from an officer at ATO, asking me to get ready and get a solicitor if I don't ring back, gave the same number to call. Serious threat

Recorded message saying from "ATO" and it was "extremely urgent" and if I do not call back I will face "legal action"

Caller: Voice message from ATO

Just received a voice message claiming to be from ATO asking me to urgently return their call & if I ddnt they would be in touch with their solicitor. Indian accent. I rang back & asked them to send me an email outlining what they wanted. Heard nothing more.

They said it was the ATO and not to disregard the message.

Left a message "Extremley Urgent and if I didn't get back to them then I must contact my solicitor"

I got the same message - automated message from “Senator Dennis Gray” and that it was extremely urgent and if I don’t return the call, “get ready to face the legal consequences.”
Has to be a scam. Made me very angry!

Scam asked for ID. Said they were Ato legal dept. Gave fake id number when asked why legal dept would be calling.

I got the same call today - clearly a scam
