Who is this caller. Says to ring or face consequences

Caller: I don’t know

It’s a recorded call saying its the ATO and unless you call back, their solicitor will call and take legal action against you and you have to call immediately. I’ve dealt with the ATO over many years and never heard them to take this approach.

"For your routine solicitor of record... Get ready to face the legal consequences... Goodbye and take care". Umm, ok?

I missed the call and the voice message a little srambled... Routine solicitor... to call us back. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. This is Officer Dennis Grey.

Left message in automated voice stating was ATO - and if I didn't call back would face legal consequences - total scam

Left urgent message asking for my solicitor to call them back. Claimed to be the ATO. Seems like a scam

Said they were the ATO and needed me to respond urgently to another number. Have been unable to find any legit message from ATO on my accounts. Both n umbers come up a bit dodgy

Yep...must be a scam ..i got call saying they are from the ATO and to return their call or I would be under investigation.

Was an obviously fraudulent legal matter. Threatened me with legal action. Clearly a hoax

Absolute BS, called the number back out of curiosity, called them on the lies. They hung up.
