Caller: Aussie accent said they were St George bank compliance

Spoke of a company close d down 15 years ago. I hung up

Claimed to be from St George remediation centre. Blocked the number. Scammer.

This bloke said he was from the St George remediation team wanting to talk to me about my fathers deregistered company. What the??? When I confronted him about how he got my name & phone number, he hung up. Big red flag right there. Then you call their number back & the menu says they're from Westpac, St George, Bank of Adelaide & Melbourne etc. St George don't know the number & nor does Westpac. GUARANTEED scammers. No doubt at all.

From Westpac - Sanctions department about a transfer i made. Email followed up as well. DONT NOT CLICK ON LINKS. Rang both Westpac and St George and they said it was not them.

They said they were from Westpac Customer remediation team and I was to call them back on 1300 130 866. Called Westpac on published number and they had no record of this call. Looks like a scam
