Caller: (02) 9123 6000 Called twice and left no message, very uncomfortable. They should leave a voicemail or something, otherwise it is very creepy. I would like to report them for this behavior.

Caller: Qantas This is definitely a genuine Qantas phone number. They returned a call, which I had previously phoned them on their 131313 official number, using (02) 9123 6000 and helped me with a query that I had submitted regarding a flight.

Caller: Qantas This IS Qantas. I had been seeking COVID credit refund and had been in a back and forward with Qantas for some time. They did call from this number and needed a card to refund my credits. IT WAS LEGIT. It sounds like it isn't, but it was. I was worried after reading these posts, but found an email preceding the call that confirmed I had a credit to be refunded AND I received an email from the same Qantas email that I had been interacting with from the call I initiated several months ago, which confirmed my discussion and refund.
Please do be wary of unsolicited calls (it would be easy to spoof a number to scam), but be aware that it COULD be the company and seek a other way to confirm.
Also, I know Qantas says they don't do this, but they obviously do as I got the refund and I confirmed in other ways that I was actually dealing with them.

Caller: Qantas Didn't answer. They left a message saying that they were following up regarding a refund case I have had open. Advised that they couldn't refund my previous payment method as it had expired (covid era). Asked for card number and expiry, no other information-- provided a card that I rarely use and has no money available. If it is a scam, as I am now starting to worry, they won't get anything. I hope the others saying that this is legit are correct as Qantas does owe me a refund (though they have tried hard not to refund me).

Scam. Didn't recognise number so let it go to message bank. Message saying they were Qantas and needed my credit card number to process a refund. Rang Qantas and I have no refunds .

Not Qantas, yet another scammer from Kolkata or Manila. Claiming your flight is full or no longer available. This idiot told me my business class ticket on a flight I had already checked in was to be diverted to another destination. I asked the scammer for more details as I was online with Qantas and noted my flight was on schedule. The scammer went to script number 2 but failed badly. Do not provide any credit card details to these idiots. Bait them and have some fun, like I do
