This number constantly calls but will not leave a message. From enquiries this is a scam from an "indian" accented person claiming to be Centrelink and wanting information about a claim.

a voice recording claiming to be from Dept of human resources and that changes had been made to pension. Rang the number back and got a male voice answering with an accent . When I asked him to explain changes he failed to answer but wanted my details. I hung up checked my centrelink online account then rang centrelink and reported this to them and also notified the police. This is definitely a scam but will confuse many of the more vulnerable members of our society the elderly

phoned and was told that my centrelink payments would be stopped as I did not reply to correspondence. I phoned again today after doing a reverse phone number check and when told them that I did this reverse number the person hung up on me, the voice was either an asian or indian.

Robot message trying to tell me I hadn't responded to numerous letters, and that social security owed me money. Scam as I am not on any form of benefit.

Claimed to be Centrelink and said they had been trying to contact me and would close my account because I hadn't replied. Centrelink would know your name and would want confirmation that they were speaking to the right person first. Scum bags preying on vulnerable people

Just called my landline, I have nothing to do with dept of human services or centrelink. They should be arrested and have the key thrown away.

Same as above, Claimed that they were from Human Services and had been trying to contact me in regard to an increase in benefits. Gave me a number to quote when I was to ring (02) 9099 1767 which was supposed to be Centrelink office in Canberra. They rang on the landline so if they had that number they also would have my address as it is in the white pages. I can see how people could believe it as it does sound genuine. Don't they realise that everything is done online now and the real Human Services dept can easily contact me if they needed to.

Robot message asking if I was on CL payments. When didn't respond, was advised that my payments would be cancelled as had not responded to any correspondence nor had filled out forms for length of time.
Definitely sounds very similar to ATO arrest warrant calls.
