Caller: Scammer

Didn't leave a message, this is the fifth suspicious call I've had this afternoon. Scammer for sure, and I wonder if that toothless bunch of slobs called the ACMA has any influence over these criminals (mostly from call centres based in India). Now that a-hole Modi is coming to town perhaps it's time for our wanker PM to have a word in his ear about international co-operation to stop this menace. Blessings to the vast majority of Indians who have to put up with these criminals as we do, they are not to blame.

Another criminal the government imported , actually given a citizenship too with a very strong Indian accent , so good chance rooted from India , oops now I’m a racist ,,, oh no
What , I’want to be sorry , I’ll just have to bow down to this bs.
Funny thing is last time I checked , doesn’t matter if born here or there , Indians are from India , just like Africans are from Africa,, just like French are from France ,,100’s of scam callsI’ve had are all Indian accent ,, so if I feel like Indian people with roots to India , that speak like Indians and look like Indians keep doing this everybody is going to think Indian from India are dodgy , half assed,lazy , dirty , stinking , scammers that will try and rort hard working people out of their hard earned coin, I call all the good Indians ,to call out their brothers and redeem your fellow countryman,,balance this back in favour for a new respect to all the good Indians that have had enough too , they gotta be out there somewhere, peace to all

Says they are calling from CBA wanting to authorise a payment of $800. Nope sorry don't have a CBA account so I hang up.

Checked (02) 9069 4806 last night and no flag. Today (02) 9069 4803. Pretty sus methinks.

The usual robocall where you answer only to get silence at the other end while the bot put's your call through to a human (!) Said hello a few times so I could play the game only to get a busy tone. Very disappointed. If I didn't get to talk to anybody how did I know they were Indian? Who Else.

called said an $800 activity is on my account wanted to know if it was me but it was not as I don't have an account with com bank they then hung up on me

called the number back, machine asked me to enter my pin

Called me three times today from (02) 9069 4803, (02) 9069 4800 and (02) 9069 4804. Haven't got past the initial "Hello? Hello? from them", but sure it's dodgy given the three similar numbers all calling in the last couple of hours. Annoying that I am expecting a call today and can't just block everything.

Hang up when answered. Surely someone can stop these grubs.

caller claimed my credit card was being used by someone overseas and they need some information so they could stop this. Don't tell them anything

Rang again today, Tuesday 20 June 2023 at 2.20pm. They don't leave a message and just hang up. I can see by all the other reports about this number that it is likely a scam call.

Fits with the description of “it’s a scam”, I think they’ve acquired a group of numbers, last four digits 4800, 4803, 4804 all appear in on it

Persistently calls, other comments indicate scammers. Djd not answer, no message.
