This number is virtually the same as an earlier call, one ending in 3 the other in 1. I ignored both calls and there was no message from either.

Caller: Claimed to be from NBN

Claimed to be from NBN & wanted to check my internet speed. I told her it was a bullsh*t call & hung up.

Caller said an unauthorised payment of $490 has been made from your bank account. I cancelled the call and blocked the number.

Caller: Supposedly the Commonwealth Bank fraud department

I hung up telling them to please stop calling!
This was the 5th potential scam call today so decided to answer it. When I answered it there was the typical long pause followed by the expected polished accent 🙄 that echoes scam.

I had two calls from this number today saying they were from Commonwealth Bank and wanted to know if we had made a purchase of $499. I don't have a Commonwealth Bank account. Bodgy as....

Caller: This number

Said they were from Visa/Mastercard...with transactions overnight...I said I'd contact my bank & they hung up. Scam.

Caller: CBA

Called claiming to be from the CBA and there was a overseas transaction made on my account. Hung up and called CBA - they confirmed it was a spam call

Automated voice advising unusual debit account transaction. I hung up and kept watching Alone Season 1.

Scammers

There were no one speaking after I pick up

PayPal apparently… robot call from the sound of it… hung up & blocked… wish it was easier to report these scams 😤

Caller: Foreign female "from NBN"

Same as Clive (above) except that I said "No you're not from NBN, this is a scam call. Good Bye!" then hung up.

Repeated calls from this number.

Caller asserted we had purchased an iPhone 11 from eBay, at whch point wife hung up, not bothering to listen to the rest of the female recorded voice

Usual delay connecting after answer. Typical scam call. But hung up before going into details about their scam.
