Caller: "NBN"

After the tell-tale silence I answered "How would you like to scam me today?"

The response: 'this is not a scam', and she then tried to tell me she was from the NBN and wanted to help me with slow internet speeds.

I had a similar call the day before, from almost the same number: .... 4804.

Said they were from Visa Mastercard and that I had overseas transactions this morning and went on to identify me and what they had didn't add up I thanked them and said I would contact my bank. bank said a scam

Caller: Foreign female "from NBN"

Same as Clive (above) except that I said "No you're not from NBN, this is a scam call. Good Bye!" then hung up.

Repeated calls from this number.

Caller asserted we had purchased an iPhone 11 from eBay, at whch point wife hung up, not bothering to listen to the rest of the female recorded voice

Usual delay connecting after answer. Typical scam call. But hung up before going into details about their scam.
