Bloody annoying, calls home phone everyday, I answered out of curiosity, can't even speak proper English, I told her I was a mortician and was she dying, she hung up?

Caller: Someone who needs to have the phone taken away from them and forcibly inserted in their rear end at high speed

Have received 4 calls from this number in the last 2 hours on my landline. Each time, just a few seconds after the landline starts ringing, my mobile phone starts ringing as well, as they're simultaneously calling both phones.
The line is silent when I answer, before it disconnects.

This number rang just a few rings and didnt give me a chance to answer.
Rang on my PRIVATE number landline!
Scam because it’s an unknown NSW number. I’ve never had dealings with NSW numbers my whole life. As per usual using scam technology, they’re probably based overseas.
I’m in Melbourne.
WHY can’t TELSTRA do a damn thing about these scams? Telstra = Multi-Billion dollar company. Surely they’ve got the cash & equip to BLOCK these daily scams from our mobiles & landlines????
These scams have become more annoying than Covid19.

I never answer any numbers that are unfamiliar as they are just scammers.
I've been receiving a lot of them over the past 12 months or so but less recently.
I always report them to Scam Watch Australia.

Really rude and angry when I said I wasn't interested in whatever he was offering or selling. Told me to bugger off. He said he was from the company who gave out free lights a while ago. And had an Indian accent

Obvious low life scammer from all the comments, many which made me laugh and agree with the sentiment.
No message left. Now blocked and yes why can't these poor excuses for human beings be stopped. We should not have to put up with this unwanted intrusion. We have enough to contend with regarding Covid let alone this kind of caper.
Telstra Call Guardian Phone a must, but I agree, Telstra should be doing more to stop these creepy people entering into our domains.

Rude little Indian man keeps calling my work number asking for a person that's NEVER been associated with our account.
Slammed the phone down in his ear as he got aggressive when I said they'd been calling for 10 years.
His comment was I only tried this 5 minutes ago.
Don't answer this number!

An obvious scammer, not expecting any calls from NSW this idiot has called a few times today and left no messages. Added to auto reject and spam, really wish these scammers would get a life and sod off

My answering machine picked up and the caller (a woman) just said HI and hung up. (Came through via landline). After looking at all the other reports on this number, I have blocked it. FYI: I have also had numerous calls about changing my light bulbs to LED and then it was calls about shower head replacements. It has now changed to getting POWERPAL which connects to an app on you mobile and displays your electricity usage. I actually have all of these.
