Missed the call, but they left an empty message on my voicemail. Seems suspicious.

I gave them wrong pin, and they offer me better plan with higher data. But, my current plan has higher data then what they offered me. LMAO, was fun tho.

Got call yesterday. Similar to other people, there was a gap before they responded, and also asked for PIN very early. When I questioned this, suggesting I was suspicious he said there would be a message sent and a second later a text arrived from "AuVODAFONE" saying that I am talking to Vodafone representative. I gave my PIN, thinking this must be legit, while still suspicious that the text info could have been forged, and was told there was changes to the plan and that I'd be getting 30GB data plus more minutes. He mentioned the plan I was on suggesting this was legit, but I presently get 6GB so 30GB sounds suspiciously high. He later said there were problems with some of my ID saying my passport details were from an overseas passport. I questioned because I didn't have any other passport, and he asked for drivers licence and expiry, which I gave. Then he went on about the passport even though I responded several times that I didn't have an overseas passport, and never did. He asked for passport number, not that I remember giving it when I applied for the account, so lied that I didn't have it. He asked to call you back in couple hours for it. I said it would be more like a week, and he asked to put me on hold for a minute. I was getting frustrated and had other things to do so hung up.
I was getting suspicious of this since I've been with Vodafone for years and if any of these details were an issue they should have been addressed ages ago.
In hindsight, and a hint to you all, when asked for a PIN give a false one first. If it's a scam they'll assume it was correct and move on, but if legit they'll say it was incorrect, and when you give the correct PIN they'll move on.

I called Vodafone after receiving a missed call twice from this number and they confirmed they had not called. The Vodafone website lists this number as one that they use but it was not them. Please call 1555 rather then answering the call

Man's voice said he would save me money without having to do anything, just asking for my pin. Played it dumb saying I didn't set one up, followed by how he wouldn't need my pin to change my plan if he was doing it for free like he wanted to.

They tell you they have your pin in front of them and ask you to say it to confirm, however, Vodafone employees can't see and don't store your pin numbers
They even sent out a FAKE TEXT MESSAGE pretending that it was the real deal.

This is a legitimate number they have called me several times sometimes hanging up after a long silence or trying to upgrade my plan etc etc. I believe this to be an offshore centre as their comprehension of english with them being so vague and what i am trying to explain is terrible.

All in all this is legitimate but Vodafone really need to do some work on their PR skills and the staff making these calls should have a better compehension and understanding of english if australian Vodafone customers are to be called.

This number is affiliated with Vodafone, I had a look on their website and this number along with others is listed as official vodafone numbers. I would still be wary about giving out information though but that's just my views. I have attached the link to the Vodafone website below with the phone numbers they use.

It does look like a scam, but this number is on the vodafone website as a legit number.

Gentleman called today at 11:17 and stated he was from Vodafone and asked me for my pin. I said I dint know it and he said I have three guesses and I said again, I don't know it and he hung up. Tried contacting Vodafone yet it is too hard to get to the correct section to check or to report. The Vodafone report Scam number is 1300 650 410,

It is Vodafone's "offers/upgrades" team. It's definitely legitimate but annoyingly they do not leave voice messages.

Pretty sure its a legit voda call, they seem to just be getting spammier as a company. Every couple of months there is a new deal they want to upgrade to. This time there was the long gap at the start of the call, a gap before he replied to anything, and then he said something mumbled in half indian and hung up. I think we need to remember these guys get paid by the call, not by the contract. I will be complaining to vodafone.
