They rang my husband's phone and I picked up. then said they want to speak to me about giving me better value. They then asked how much I was paying and I advised them that if they were from vodafone they would know that and I hung up

I just got one. They even sent a text message saying that I was speaking with an Vodafone team member and needed my pin to discuss upgrading plans as they had recently been advised. Advised her that Vodafone have advised they will never ask for a pin on an incoming call and hung up on her,

They just rang me for 2nd time. No answer when you pick up....even left voicemail msg full of silence. This has happened before about 8 years ago...maybe I need to change my number! Love reverse directory, now I can get on with my day!

Called at 7.30pm at night so definitely not a professional number. Don't trust it.

Pretty much ended this when they asked my PIN. This may be vodafone but very unprofessional to ask this information. If you ring them then fine, you know who you are giving your PIN to, but this could be anyone who has my mobile number and with my PIN number they can cause all sorts of havoc to my account. Bad practice if its vodafone doing this.

He started with 'Hi I'm from Vodafone, just ringing because you're a premium customer and we could talk about how to cut down on how much you spend each month. Then said since I'm a premium customer I can buy a tablet for just $15. Then he said would you like to go ahead now and purchase a table for just $15 per month. When I said no he said 'okay, does anyone in your family have a phone with rechargeable credit?'. When I said no he said 'Okay thank you for your time' and hung up immediately. You cannot convince me vodafone is paying anyone to do that.

The tablet pitch is a way to get you to pay them, and the question about rechargeable credit is another way for them to scam you through the use of itunes gift cards etc.

Low lives.

I just received a call from this number...I answered and said "hello" - no reply. I said "hello" again and a man replied in a very muffled voice with a very strong accent saying who knows what as it was completely incoherent & then he hung up. I panicked as I thought I might have been the victim of one of those scam callers who hack into your phone & so I dialled the number back only to hear a Vodafone recorded message saying "Hi there, we recently contacted you....."

Hey Vodafone - you didn't recently contact me - you basically freaked me out thinking that I was being hacked. Not impressed. Go away Vodafone!!

They were offering to upgrade my plan as they noticed I went over my usage last month and were offering additional 3GB data for an extra $10. Not a good deal as the deals online were showing a lot more data for the same price - questioned this and was able to get a lot more data for the same price.
