I got this call twice. They wanted to come over to give me some paperwork and advice on tax minimising. The number they called from is 1034. I questioned the lady and she put me onto this guy which ii asked his name which so happened to be Roger. He mistakinly called me Roger which made me chuckle.i asked for his contact number which he gave me (08) 9562 1885 I have not tried to ring. Either way when they call again I will have my say to them.

just got my first call from these scamers and made him say the name again while I typed into google he twigged what I was doing, got angry, and hung up. What I googled brought me here, well done guys the more people do this, the greater the chance they will give up and go try something or some one else.

Got a call at 5:40pm - The caller said they were from Australian Information Group - they had my address and surname - unbelievable - i asked how they got this information and they said from the electoral roll??? They ask if I knew how much my house was worth, if I worked part time or full time...blah..blah. When I asked which Gov't Dept he was working for etc he just said don't get upset please answer the next question and kept rattling on. I said goodbye and hung up. At 6:55pm the same night - same again. I told them someone had already called with the same accent asking the same questions. I hung up. I went online and checked it out and found this forum - These people are a worry. DON'T give any more information from what they already have. Its pretty scary what these people could potentially be up too.

just had the same people call and spoke to Kevin. I asked where they were located and for a number to contact them on. he told me that he would put on to the senior most manager and speaking with the same person was told to "get stuffed" when asked If I was still talking with Kevin and then they hung up!

I just got the call then (people shouldn't wake me up, im cranky) I was talking to joe at first, i asked where they were calling from and he said Munno Para, I asked where abouts in Munno Para he was calling from and he said my street name. I asked for his supervisors name and he said it was jesus, i told him to f*ck off and he called back 5 times. we are already on the DNC register so now we are getting a silent number....

Have had 5 calls in 5 days from this mob. They don't listen when I ask them not to call. They just keep calling. Help!!!!!

These Indian idiots called me too - ask to talk to a male ... then start swearing at him, he gets really abusive - its hilarious. I told him he had a small one and he went nuts. Very funny. They keep calling every now and then - I always laugh after abusing them, if they are going to waste my time I may aswell be able to give them some abuse back

Just adding my note to say beware of Australian Information research group. They have called me several times.. despite being on DNC register.. she hung up again this time when I insisted on getting an Australian phone number for their company

hello let me tell you guys don't give your friends number to this people because one of my stupid friend given my number to these people and that guy called me about 20-25 times and he convinced me that i have to pay $169 and i will get 7 night free in Australia and New Zealand but when i called to them to book accommodation then i found out that i have to pay for first night and then second night free, and there rates are high enough to cover 2 days accommodation it ripped me off guys i did not go anywhere but spend money on nothing.....even your friend recommended your name
don't trust over the phone business......i hate these guys.........and feeling so stupid and fool.....

We just had a call at 1.42pm from this company. in made her spell out the name of the organisation 3 times as it was a bad line. I googled it and came straight to this page...and told her I told her there had been reports against the company and I was not going to give any private details...she hung up!

Interested to know whether anything untoward has come about since you provided the information ?

I am also from Adelaide and have received the same call regarding tax miminisation. They are sending one of their "experts" over to give me some documentation. I'm looking forward to the confrontation....Don't think they will ever call me again...

My phone number is silent and I still got a call from these douchebags. As soon as I enquired as to who their company is to be collecting my private info and then asked what Gov't dep't contracted them to obtain my private information, they hung up.

I just received the same call asking very personal information and when I asked for their contact details they said there was no number but a website. There is no such website and I am not really concerned about the information I provided. I was very vague in my responses and they got me in while I was nursing my baby and were very persistent.I normally don't take any such calls and am now really angry at myself for taking it! I am concerned mostly because they had all my personal details (ie. address, phone etc). I am going tot change my number to be silent ASAP to see if it makes any difference with these calls.

Caller "Michelle" from Australian information Research Group, Asian accent. Seemed concerned about my health and wanted information. I hung up. Smelt rotten.

This number is for an indian call centre.

They do work for various people, including thise doing scams.

The one where they do a survey, at the end they tell you about the refund you are entitled too from the Federal Government. Offocurse you need to pay a small fee of a 100-200 dollars so that yoiu egt the thousands back.

Offcourse you never the money back.

Just got the same call myself. I only gave vague answers but when I started enquiring, the caller started quickly trying to end the conversation. He sounded Indian. These arseholes piss me off. I would love to go to India track them down and trash their places. If only I could find out the phone no he was calling from.

Same here, "John" told me he was from the Australian Information Research Group. I asked him what this group was as I never heard of it and he told me it was a community group with some dodgy explanations. When I asked for his phone number, he simply hung up.... That's my standard question now. Unfortunately ACMA's do not call register doesn't seem to stop these scam artists.

got call from this number...denied to give any information like income, house value, etc..and want to fix appointment with some one local regards property investment,,,it is totally doggy...
