They do not leave a message or answer when I ring back.

I did not pick their call but kept ringing with different numbers.

Recorded message said calling from NBN and my service would be disconnected within 24hours and select option 1 to connect to a technician - sounded dodgy as

Scam! Said they were from visa and Mastercard security centre and there was an $800 pending transaction that they could cancel and would help me check the location of my VPN as there were 2 using my number and one was in California using my card

Indian male claimed to be from Cyber security and there was a criminal in California who has hacked my email and has access to my phone now. Became verbally abusive about my mental state of mind when I asked why I could hear others in the background making the same calls.

Caller:

Malicious Caller ID-Spoofing robocall. Scam call centre operating in India. They operate using many different numbers. Purporting to be one of numerous organisations on any given call/day.

Do not disclose or 'confirm' any personal or financial details. Do not download any software or allow remote access to your devices.

Best not to answer any calls or return any missed calls from this number.

They called me saying they're from the Federal government's solar panel initiative...

Called but no message

Claimed to be working for NBN and that our internet has been compromised, and needed details to fix it. Scammers for sure.

They called and hung up when I answered

I called back and "user busy" showed on mobile screen

Keep calling, no message. Don’t answer on return call

I think it's spam as it's a robotic voice
