Caller: Someone trying to get your IP address They call and an answerphone message states that your internet connection has been tampered with. Then you press 1 to go through to technical person (accent is thick and asian sounding). Then they read a scriped and ask you to type a search on your device (in short they want your IP adress).
It's such an easy con to notice. judt hang up on them and don't give them anything... Wanted to share as some people will get worried about their internet being down.

Same as the other 2, they called but didn't leave a message. I called back a couple of times and no one answered.

I answer the call but after I said 'hello', they hung up!

Caller: spam Automated message saying 'Nicole from National Broadband Network we've been trying to get in touch with you, however we're going to disconnect your land line' at which point I hung up because it's crap.
