Caller: Automated voice supposed to be centrelink

Rang saying they have not heard from us since they supposedly sent a letter and my pension was being increased and back pay omg I'm not on the pension and to call back on the same number to Canberra office with application no: 080456

Scammers, pretending to be centrelink and said our reference was 08045

Supposed Centrelink call stating that they have attempted to get in touch with me several times and that I have not responded. They stated that their call related to back payments and an increase in my benefits. As I had not responded they advised the case had been transferred to Canberra Centrelink, and quoted my application no. 080456 to use when contacting Canberra office.

I am sick and tired of ALL THESE SCAM CALLS it seams they are never ending. I had Telstra Block some countries from phoning me because of the scams, and I AM STILL Getting all sorts of HORRID people calling with numerous threats.

Wow!!!!!!!!! We all have the same application number 080456, what a coincidence! They left an automated message re my Centrelink payments (if only I got some) saying my application had not been completed and to call (02) 8317 1419 quoting the above number and complete my application.

Same as the above callers - left a voicemail with this number something about forms we hadn't filled in and benefits being suspended.... we don't claim Centrelink anything !! and the file number is also 080456 !!

I received an automated call saying Centrelink had tried to contact me several times about back payment and an increase to my payment. They said due to the fact they could not contact me the case had gone to Canberra and to ring (02) 8317 1419 and quote 080456. I did ring and spoke to "officer Robert Watson", Indian accent, who told me, my CRN was going to be suspended due to fraudulent activity in Tasmania. Well I kind of lost it and told them to shove their scam up their a** I had not been to Tasmania, I would be contacting Centrelink and I hope they have a very sh**y day.

As above. I phoned the suggested Canberra number. I spoke to an Asian sounding person who hung up when I said that I was concerned that this might be dodgy.
According to my phone, the original call came from (08) 7070 1227 which when I called claimed to be a winery in South Australia and asked me to leave a message. I did WTF?

Same message as others with money owed to me from Centrelink. same case number 080456. Pity I am not on Centrelink.

Yes they called with the same message then when I called back and asked questions they told me "shut up bitch " just hang up.

i got exactly the same application number as you stated above and some bullsh*t about centrelink back payments so i just deleted the message they have been ringing me for weeks i didn,t answer because i didn,t recognise the number and figured it was a scam i agree it needs to stop

They called my parents and left a message in regard to centerlink pension. My mum who is not well got very, very distressed! I hope someone is going to do something about these bastards soon!!!!!

Same as everyone else, and same application number 080456, asked to call it back and quote the reference number regarding pension back payments. Telling me it's transferred to Canberra and there will be fines involved if I do not contact them.

Thanks for the postings. Still at it in November 2018. Fortunately? I can't retrieve messages from my phone. Would like to know the message. I too am on the do not call register. I too am tired of continually getting scam callers. Thanks everyone for your posts.
