My bank uses them and this number called me back after I called my bank’s Fraud Department - being 21 inline I accepted a call back whilst keeping my place in the cue. Caller: Didn’t pick up This number was used to replace the verification mobile number or OTP. How the hell did they change my mobile number listed under my account to their land line number so all my banking calls for teachers mutuall/Unicredit go through to them? Series stuff up in my opinion!

Surprise, surprise (In Gomer Pyle voice)! They are legitimate. Had to do the 1,000 question interview about cancelled deposit to my CEX account at day1x.io, and then watched while I redid. It is a fraud service contracted to my bank.

Caller: (02) 8299 9534 Female caller left message, said she was from Fraud Bureau Service and to call her back on 1300 705 750 re suspicious transaction on my bank account. Said to have my member number handy. This was the second call in 24 hours and is absolutely a scam because I have talked with my bank twice now and there are no suspicious transactions. They are spoofing legit numbers. Also have searched a couple of bank websites and they have warnings about this scam. Always call you bank yourself and don’t tell them anything! SCAM SCAM SCAM

Caller: (02) 8299 9534 Legit fraud department. My bank blocked a purchase I made and told me to call 1300 705 750. I did but chose to wait for a call back when it was my turn in the queue instead of hanging out on the phone. The 02 number called me back, spoke to a guy called Logan who was lovely. I did question the legitimate nature of the call and he advised if I was concerned then to hang up and call back my bank. He was super helpful and unblocked my card so I could finalise my purchase. He even asked how I found out about the company I was buying from as it was overseas, he wanted to make sure it was a legit company.

Caller: women no name My bank told me that that Sydney number (02) 8299 9534 is definitely a scam. If you get a call from that number, or any other about suspicious activity on your card, call your bank FIRST and follow THEIR advice.

I let the number ring out, then came here to check the comments. I called my bank which is BankAustslia and they are affiliated with them. If you are unsure call your bank first. They are a genuine company and were very helpful with answering questions and looking out for me from some unusual transactions on my account. They are Australian based and maybe associated with your financial institution without you knowing, as mentioned check with your bank first. But yes they are not scammers.

Received a cold call message, indicated a suspect transaction on my card and to call back with member number? Called back they wanted identity specifics...sure no. Called the bank..they confirmed no fraudulent activity on any of my accounts and no notations on my file...I don't even have a card so it's not even possible. To those calling this number legit??... if so this company is way off the mark.

This number is legit - left a message to call my bank with possible fraudulent transactions. Rang my bank using number on the back of the credit card and yes, someone was trying to use my card in the USA.

Caller: Fraud company used by banks Not a scam. But if in doubt, call your bank using the phone number found on the bank's website and ask them to confirm the number is genuine.
This is a legitimate fraud detection company contracted by smaller banks who don't have their own fraud team.
I was suspicious when contacted by this number, but they didn't ask for any personal details.

Caller: Cuscal (Banking Provider) Legit call - I made a large "fast payment" bank transfer (the maximum allowed each day) as part of moving my funds from one bank to another... this transaction was declined for some reason, and a phone call from this number followed minutes later. A member of their bank fraud team, to follow-up on the transaction in case it was fraudulent. Good to see they're on top of things and actively keeping an eye out for any possible dodgy activity!
