Caller: Amazon I usually stay silent if I pick up an unknown caller just incase it's a scam. This number called twice and I picked up both times. The other end didn't say anything both times and I suspected it was a scam because of that until I got an email saying there was an issue with my Amazon delivery and searched this number up, confirming it was Amazon. They would not have had an issue had they just said they are from Amazon but now I have to wait until they deliver it again.

Caller: Claims to be Amazon Call came in around 9am on a Saturday claiming to be an Amazon delivery driver unable to find the address, but my most recent delivery had arrived two weeks ago. I asked the driver what street/business were nearby Soi could perhaps guide them to the right place, but they couldn’t describe anything identifiable, so I just said please return the package to sender. The same number called again around midday on Sunday but I missed the call, and they left a black 3-second long voicemail.

Why would an independent contractor care about whether it’s a “business day” or if they deliver during “business” hours? Are you okay?

Nope, it was an Amazon Logistics driver; just because you didn’t order directly from Amazon doesn’t mean it wasn’t delivered by an AL subcontractor (especially the number of “online stores” that are just shopfronts for an Amazon reseller

Caller: I don't know This definitely doesn’t sound legit. Amazon usually contacts you through the app or email, especially if there’s an active order. Getting a random call at such an odd time with no order history is a big red flag. Thanks for sharing. This kind of awareness really helps others avoid scams.
