I am an Amazon delivery driver and I can confirm that this is the central phone number that we use to call customers whenever we are having any delivery issues in order to ensure they receive their packages. It could be anything to a dog on the premises that's preventing delivery, failure to locate an address which actually occurs so often due to customer errors or trying to access locked apartments or gates, to checking for instructions on a safe location to leave packages, etc. We do all that so we can offer the best service to customers and get their packages delivered. Please answer thie call from this number when you have purchased something from Amazon and assist drivers to make their job easier for you. For some on this forum I would say please show respect to Amazon drivers and avoid posting demeaning and despite full comments. These are ordinary people who could well be yourself or anyone else in your life. I personally have PhD and have work as a lecturer at a top GO8 University in Melbourne but I still do this job as a side business. We are not Amazon employees but we run our own businesses and work as subcontractors or what Amazon refers to as delivery partners.

Everyone this is NOT a scam. Had an Amazon delivery that required a code - gave it to them over the phone as nobody was home so they could leave it for me (could see this on the security cam remotely as well). The drivers obviously go through some central phone system that comes up with a landline.

They didn't leave a voicemail. Other entries here for this number imply it's from Amazon, but I do not have any Amazon orders currently and haven't for several months. In my case the caller was definitely fraudulent.

Yep, Amazon Logistics. Legit. Received a call at 9.30 am Sunday Melbourne. Calling back goes to Amazon Automated Voicemail. Seems like some eBay delivery as I did not buy anything from Amazon. Checked my door, found an ebay order delivered by amazon logistics.

Caller: Amazon Definitely Amazon driver, wanted to confirm he had the right unit (my address can be confusing). Described my front yard correctly and told me he was leaving the parcel next to my umbrella.
