I unfortunately have a credit card with this mob and for the past 5 years have requested statement in the mail. Citibank is the most difficult company I have ever dealt with in relation to getting information on your own account its terrible and disheartening. Left an inaudible voice message without identifying who they are.
Not at all impressed
Returned the call and advised them that i don't have any accounts with or related to them and never asked for them to call me.Told them not to bother calling me again. They are the dumbest bunch of halfwits I have ever come across. Can also relate to Julie's comments - am going through exactly the same issue re rewards earned with using the Citibank credit cards, this was one of the reasons why I initially used this company - of all the banks I have dealt with over the years, Citibank is by far the worst when it comes to customer service - big on promise, very small on delivery! Caller: Coles mastercard
Its a legit call. I had a fake credit card transaction and they are chasing it up.
Never deal with Citibank.
Terrible service. My money was inaccessible for three weeks as they sent out three cards with incomplete addresses. They locked down my account, I could not pay bills, groceries, rent or even withdraw my funds to close the account.
Useless Citibank. They claimed I was late paying my monthly statement, which is and always is paid on the due date, and in full. So $30 late fee and $14.82 interest charged on my next statement, plus the whole of previous statement $782 added. After 45 minutes verifying who I was, to speak with someone, somewhere overseas who was very hard to understand, resolved the issue, and got reimbursed. They cannot re-issue a second statement as their computer can`t do it.
Guess who is closing his credit card account with these clowns.
Rubbish bank Caller: Qantas Credit Card?
I have left three messages on my credit card app asking something. We've now missed two Sydney calls, no messages. I'm assuming it is in response to the Qantas card questions (now Citibank I think?). Why no message. Call just now was cut off before I could answer the phone.
Caller: claimed to from citibank
Scam call! not from citibank as it failed to provide 6digit code and did not identified my mobile.
Received a call from this number wanting personal information about my address after which I hung up as I am sure my credit card company would not phone me to ask these questions. So hard to decide if a call is genuine or not! Caller: Qantas Premium Mastercard
I have this card and had left a question about activation of my new card via the Qantas Money app. They called me to respond to my question and left a voice to text saying what they wanted. I called them back from my work number in case it was a scam but it was legit. It must be a contact centre that handle multiple brands of cards by the look of the comments on this site.
Caller: (02) 8288 2290
Very dodgy. Called me just now and seemed nobody on the other end--no voice or any sound. I then checked this number and let me here. Thanks for the website and your effort to stop the harassers.
Caller: Said they were Citibank
Started asking for account details. I said no as I don't know whether they are actually Citibank or not. She said she would email, she hasnt.
Just a call from Citibank.
Hard mob to deal with
Citibank number. Legit call though. My call was related to reward redemption that couldn't get through my email and had to be done manually.
had the same scam call as many others , them claiming they have a cheque for me , scammers are getting smarter and smarter getting the ability to use citibanks number in their scams
Shd have checked this out long before getting a currency debit card w/Citi.
Just about to go into 2nd week of complaint re: funds transferred via Osko "normally transmitted in minutes," but not yet available.
Monday I sent a "don't bother, send me all funds, close my account" email. This call today undoubtedly the f/up. 3days later.
Caller: Philippino female claiming to be from Citibank
Knew my name and wanted me to confirm it. I just asked what was this about. She claimed some correspondence to do with my back account had been returned. I said I did not bank with Citibank. She claimed the correspondence had been returned three times! I do not bank with Citibank I said. It was a cheque she claimed! I hung up.

Tried calling back and it was an anonymous automated message. Scammer or telemarketers I assume.
