    I unfortunately have a credit card with this mob and for the past 5 years have requested statement in the mail. Citibank is the most difficult company I have ever dealt with in relation to getting information on your own account its terrible and disheartening.

    Can also relate to Julie's comments - am going through exactly the same issue re rewards earned with using the Citibank credit cards, this was one of the reasons why I initially used this company - of all the banks I have dealt with over the years, Citibank is by far the worst when it comes to customer service - big on promise, very small on delivery!

    Useless Citibank. They claimed I was late paying my monthly statement, which is and always is paid on the due date, and in full. So $30 late fee and $14.82 interest charged on my next statement, plus the whole of previous statement $782 added. After 45 minutes verifying who I was, to speak with someone, somewhere overseas who was very hard to understand, resolved the issue, and got reimbursed. They cannot re-issue a second statement as their computer can`t do it.
    Guess who is closing his credit card account with these clowns.

    Got a call yesterday exactly the same. Phone rang twice and had hung up before I could answer. I called back yesterday but I'm not getting messed around with this number again today.

    My phone rang twice but had hung up as I answered. Redialled the number and explained what had happened. I was asked if I had accounts with a variety of banks,lenders, including Bank of Queensland, Citi, Virgin Credit, etc. I picked one I had an account with and explained again what had happened. I was then asked for my name, credit card number and or account number. I hung up. If they’re legit why not wait until you answer rather than hanging up after 2 rings and expecting you to blab all your info without verifying who they are?

    They rang and knew my full name and that I'd recently emailed, but asked for details for verification, which I declined, indicating I couldn't verify who they were. If it's legitimate, it's a truly irresponsible way of going about business, as it just encourages individuals to reveal personal data without knowing who's actually calling. (She also sounded like she was outside in windy weather, which didn't aid credibility.) I was polite but requested they put it in writing.

    Legit call from Kogan money, had an unauthorised purchase on my credit card and they followed it up. They asked for my postcode and first 4 letters of my mothers maiden name to verify.
