asked for name and DOB trying to verify and then email. and i asked for the reason of the call which he said he can't reveal as i am not verified. I asked how can i verify you as AGL and he couldn't either. I ask him to send me email from agl to my email.

Caller: Apparently agl

Called then hung up after 20 secs then called back an hour later and insisted I give all my details which no way I will do then he got upset and became a smart ass don't trust them as seems like a scam

Caller: AGL so they claim

Claims they are AGL and I have unpaid amount. I checked and it's only 1 day overdue.

They ask me to give them name and DOB, which I declined as my phone says it's the suspected spam number.

I highly doubt its actual AGL, some kind of phising I suspect.

If it's actually AGL, they need to get rid of this number and call from clean number.

As mentioned, caller didn't speak but after 30s she spoke and claimed to be from AGL, she asked for my details (not going to give details to some stranger on phone) when I said I'm no longer with AGL she said I had unpaid bill. I politely said I'm waiting for my gas meter to be fixed as it's faulty, she hung up. Rude.

Caller: Unknown

Claimed to be calling from AGL. When asked which account and location they were enquiring about they could not answer. They called back about 1.5 hours later and didn't speak. Scammers of some sort!

Caller: AGL Electricity

Called about an overdue account, asking if clarification, then they hung up after about twenty seconds.

Caller: AGL

Asked for payment for an overdue electricity account. I don't even use AGL

Rude pieces of sh*ts. They can't be from Agl.

Caller: They didn't speak

I said hello. I could hear background call centre jabber. I hung up after 20 seconds.

Didn't leave voicemail so that's suspicious enough and everyone has said they are AGL sales blocked goodbye

They did not speak for 30s

They rang and didn't leave a message, frustrating - not to mention rude.
